Numbers

A very simple card from me for my first card today but quite striking I think. I have used 2 new Woodware stamps, paper piecing the 18. Then I simply added some of my favourite faux stitching using a fineliner pen.

Challenges
Simon Says Monday Big stamp
Simon Says Clean and simple
Deep Ocean Stitching true or false

Rather short and sweet post today. Not sure what we are doing today, all depends upon the weather but if it is nice may go to one of the local garden centres for some plants as we have several post we want to start planting up.
I will be back later with another card.

Red always seems to work well with black and white and the finished effect on this card is fabulous.

Congrats on your new DT.

Fingers crossed the weather holds out today.

CAS is always good for me and this is great.
Yes, you read it right. No papers bought for 5 years. Not because I don't like them, but because mostly my style of cards doesn't need them, which is why I have lots ledt from the days when I did use them LOL. I, too, am not one for buying just to look at. Apart from that, I have hundreds of digi papers from the days when a friend and I used to create CDs from our own photographs (we were known as J and P Pictures) :o)

This card is fantastic! I love how the colorful patterned "18" stands out so well. And that background of the jumbled numbers is fabulous! Nice touches with the dots and dashes, too. Overall, a wonderfully whimsical card. I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

Great card Marianne. These stamps from Woodware speak for themselves and don't really need a lot of embellishments.

Simple is good if it's done as stylishly as this and it would make a great card for a man!
I wonder if you got any gardening done - the weather here on Sunday was pretty rubbish but I did pot on my tomato plants in the safety of the conservatory!
Big hugs, Kat xx
