LOTV Wedding launch

Lili of the Valley are launching some lovely new Wedding stamps on May 12th.  If you are a fan you will remember their lovely Wedding couple with the groom striding it out.  They have been updated and I think look a little more grown up.

I coloured them with Copics and used some old LOTV romance and roses papers, lace from Crafty Ribbons, cheesecloth, ribbons, flowers from Wild Orchid. a LOTV sentiment and a couple of heart dies along with my Daisy Mae torn edge stitched rectangle die.

I do

I was asked by our line dance teacher for a personalised Wedding card and as I didn't have a lot of notice used a LOTV coloured simply print called I do. It is no longer available but you can still buy the image as a digi to colour. I added sparkle to the flowers with a clear sparkle pen. The paper is LOTV romance and roses, lace and flowers from Wild Orchid.  I coloured with wooden hearts with a Nova sparkle pen and added some pearl string and Dovecraft ribbon.

Wedding Day

Thanks for all the likes on my tooth fairy pillows. I took some restocks into Prima Rosa yesterday including this card. When I went in there I stopped to talk to a lady I met there once before and she introduced me to her friend for whom she bought one of my cards. They both said how beautiful it was and asked what I was bringing in. I showed them and they both bought something and I was so pleased one of them was a tooth fairy pillow.

So onto my card which I made using an old LOTV diecut. I still have a few of these to use. There are still some sock of these available in the LOTV outlet store on Etsy. The image is also available as a digi stamp to colour.  I used some Anna Marie paper, cheesecloth, a very old sentiment banner and some flowers from Hobbycraft. I coloured the wooden hearts with a pink sparkle pen and as it was brighter than I wanted, dabbed some off then coloured with a white sparkle pen. I also used a clear sparkle pen on the flowers and ribbon on the image.

Commissioned card

My line dancing teacher asked me to make a large Wedding card and this is what I came up with. I love it when people say I don't mind what you make, I know it will be lovely.  I used a LOTV simply print, diecut it and then added a little victorian velvet distress ink to the edges. The paper is an old LOTV one, the hearts die is one I bought in the Sizzix sale. I printed the sentiment, diecut it and gain used the distress ink.I added some cheesecloth, pearl sprays and flowers from Wild Orchid.

I don't heat emboss enough so I stampd some wooden hearts with shabby white frantage and heat embossed them and then added some sparkle to the flowers in the image and the diecut hearts with a clear sparkle pen.

Wedding Day

We should have been on holiday in North Wales this week but had to cancel due to Graham having his hernia op today. However it did mean we could attend the wedding of the couple I made this card for using a LOTV stamp coloured with Copics and with lots of sparkle from a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  The paper is from an old LOTV pad. I made an 8x8 card which gave me plenty of scope for embellishments.

I used an old Spellbinder floral oval die, Roxstamps heart hangers, wooden hearts coloured with Wink of Stella white sparkle pen, butterflies from Poundland, I think, Dovecraft heart pins, ribbon, lace from stash and flowers from Wild Orchid.

A friend is collecting us to go to the hospital mid morning. Hubby should have his op this afternoon and will be staying in overnight so we are going back to see him this evening hopefully.

The ribbons are from Crafty Ribbons, flowers from Wild Orchid.  The border die is from Doohickey.

Mother and father of the bride

I had an order for a Wedding card and a card for the parents of the bride. I decided to keep it quite simple and pretty. I typed the sentiment and diecut it with a Spellbinders floral oval. I added some Tattered Rose distress ink to the edges. The double heart is a Gummiapan die, flowers from Wild Orchid and butterfly from Poundland. The paper is Anna Marie blissful pink.

We bought some plants yesterday so this morning we will be planting up pots and having a tidy in the garden.  The weather is incredible for April. It should last until Tuesday according to the latest forecast and then go down to about 13 degrees.

Hopefully some crafting time this afternoon.  Really hoping we don't get the snow they are predicting but I do have some new snow boots I bought before Christmas.

This is the second card I made for this month's Crafts Beautiful magazine.  When I was asked to make a Wedding card for the magazine I just had to use my favourite Wedding stamp from LOTV. The papers are some new ones I treated myself to, First Edition Beyond the Shore and I simply added a LOTV stamped sentiment and a couple of wooden hearts.

Commissioned card

I was asked to make a Wedding card similar to one I made recently but to keep the flowers fairly flat as it had to be posted to Australia. I used one of the LOTV simply print images. As this is a 7" card I used one of the largest images and coloured the pink flowers with Copics as the colour combo I was asked for was peach and green.  I used Memory Box precious hearts die, lace and various paper flowers and one of my fave products, Viva pearl pen.

Elegant Wedding

I had a message on Facebook from somebody I used to work with asking if I could make her a special Wedding card. I replied with a couple of suggestions and she chose this lovely image from LOTV. This is one of the precoloured diecuts which are discontinued though some are still available on Ebay. The bride wil be wearing silver so I kept the colour very subtle. I used a clear Wink of Stella pen on the flowers on the image and added some tiny pearls.

Thanks to everyone for your get well wishes. I went to the Dr who said it is a cough virus which started a year ago and can last for up to 4 months! I still feel pretty awful so I am hoping it disappears soon. Luckily after a busy September we had nothing planned for this weekend or the next few days so I am taking it easy until I feel better.
