A Christmas Mouse

It's my good friend Lynsey's challenge this week at Winter Wonderland and she has challenged us to use a Christmas Mouse on our projects. I love this sweet Gillian Roberts mouse and haven't used him/her yet this Christmas so it was time for an outing. I teamed him with Wild Rose papers and some sanded Core'dinations. The image is coloured with Promarkers. Holly made with a Woodware punch and some card candi. I bought the gorgeous organza ribbon at Ally Pally.

Have a Mice Christmas

Have been out all day today, haircut and colour, so the hair is looking good today! Went to the Bank, did a little shopping and then home to check up what is happening. I couldn't believe my eyes when I checked the competition over at Little Claire's blog where they wanted names for their new Cutie Patootie stamps. They chose my names, Bert and Mary so I have won a set of the 6 new stamps. How fantastic is that! I've never won a naming competition before.

Right, onto my card today which is an 8" card using the sweet Gillian Roberts mice coloured with Promarkers. I used papers from my 12" stash, Papermania glitter strip, ribbon, Woodward punched leaves, Crealie die cut leaves, Prima poinsettia, card candi and pearls.

Special Friends

This week at Winter Wonderland my good friend Lynsey has challenges us to make a card for a special friend or someone special. I bought Simply Cards and Papercraft mag last week just because I wanted the free gift which was a HOTP Christmas paper pack. The mag was a bonus rather than the other way around for me. These are the papers I have used with the cute Gillian Roberts mice which have been coloured with Promarkers. The spots on her top have been coloured with a  Sakura Goldstar pen for a bit of bling. I have used the MS double loop punch, some pearls, Sizzix cut corner and Prima flower and leaves. My card features this cute couple from Gillian Roberts. Papers are BG Eskimo Kisses (how appropriate for the image). Not much of these papers left now and only 2 of these lovely Hero Arts poinsettias. I added some star bards for a change to match the star charm.

The theme at Teddy Stampers is bedtime bears. This is my second and last GDT card from them. I decided rather than go for a sleepy bear I would use this beautiful Lili of the Valley image. Bedtime for me means following my nightly cleansing routine before bed just like this little bear. I added glossy accents to the mirror. Papers are Papermania Rose Garden. The paper pack also has some lovely sentiments and borders, both of which I used here. I layered the sentiment twice as it is rather small. Flowers are Wild Orchid with punched leaves.

Christmas cards

Well it seemed appropriate to make these this afternoon with the snow falling. Thankfully everywhere was so wet that it didn't lay, We've had everything today, snow, sleet, rain and sun, though not much of the latter.
