Lili of the Valley have a gorgeous new launch of digi stamps coming soon. This one is choccy mice which would be great for a lot of occasions. I coloured it with Copics. The paper is MFT and I used a doily and some wooden hearts from Hobbycraft. Both the sentiments are LOTV.

Getting there with Christmas cards
Just a few Christmas cards left to make now. I used a coloured digi from Lili of the Valley, Christmouse house. The papers are some old ones and I used some old Memory Box holly and ivy dies. The glitter tape is new. I bought a pack from The Works, lots of lovely colours. The sentiment is LOTV and I found the star in some old diecuts in my Christmas stash.
I am at a craft today and another tomorrow. These are my last two this year, both 11-3 which suits us nicely. I think that is long enough for a craft fair. Any longer and you probably get the same amount of people just spread over more hours. We were going to do another next Saturday but I decided a couple of weeks ago not to do that one as I didn't have to pay until the day and it was further to go. Hopefully I will be able to start fairs earlier next year but that all depends on Covid of course.
Stay safe and have a lovely weekend.

Happy Christmouse!
I have another from the second Christmas launch from Lili of the Valley today. This mouse with holly which I coloured with Copics. The papers are First Edition Winter Rose. I love the rich colours of these papers. The ribbon is an old once from Crafty Ribbons. I used a holly punch, flowers from Hobbycraft and berries from stash.

Another sneak peek
As promised I am back with another sneak peek from the next Christmas launch from Lili of the Valley. These will be released early this month and will be digis and polymer stamps along with some polymer stamps from the previous launch.
This is mouse with bauble which I coloured with Copics and used fun flock on the fur. I went for a shabby chic look this time using Anna Marie Christmas jingle papers and some burlap with lace. I used Sue Wilson poinsettia and foliage dies, banner die from The Works and wonky stitched rectangle die from MFT. I used a white wink of stella pen on the poinsettias for a more vintage and sparkly look.
Hard to believe it is the last day of August already. I know some of you have had better weather than us as a lot of August here has been very dull. We have hardly watered the garden due to the rain and the temperatures have cooled down a lot.

Designed for each other
A commissioned Valentine card today with specially requested wording as that is what the couple had on their Wedding favours. I sent her some example cards and she chose these sweet Penny Black mice. I was sure they were on a multiple clear sheet of stamps and couldn't find them in my files which worried me. Then I thought maybe it is a wooden stamps and of course it is. I think I had the sheet with them on which was a smaller image and then managed to buy the larger wooden stamp.
Looking through the drawer to find it reminded me how many gorgeous PB stamps I have and need to use again. I coloured the image with Copics, the papers are some old Santoro ones and I used a stitched square die from The Works, a Whiff of Joy banner die and some puffy hearts from Tiger.

Hanging around
My pile of Christmas cards is growing nicely. A fiend has been buying a few on Facebook so every time I think I am almost done she asks to buy one. I like to make a few more than I need as well. I sorted through some coloured toppers to make some cards and this little cutie from The Hobby House caught my eye. I diecut a doi ly circle using a Doohickey die to back the topper, used First Edition Almost Christmas papers, some punched holly leaves and pearls and an ornament border die. When I went to photograph it I noticed that one pearl on the left hand holly leaves had gone awol. Good job I still has some of those left to replace it. No sign of the missing one anywhere!

Tea party
Sunday, 28 June 2020
Sneak peek
As well as the tea party initials Lil of the Valley are launching a set of cute mice and bunnies along with lots of little extras like butterflies and bunting so you can create your own scenes. I used Mouse and Bird along with one of the general sentiments.
Medium - Copics
Dies - Go Kreate frilly 10, Memory Box clouds
Punches - Xcut corner punch, MS fern, umbrella (no brand)
Flowers - Wild Orchid
papers - Crafters Companion vintage lace
We are off to see my Mum this morning so that will be nice. Tomorrow Graham is going to paint my craft room ceiling so we will have to move some of the stuff out. As he is doing it rather than a decorator it means we don't have to have everything out at once. Crafting this week will be a bit more challenging though so will have to see how I get on depending upon where things are.
And the good news is I have an appointment for a haircut and colour on 20th July, hooray!

Tea party
Lili of the Valley re launching a set of tea party initials in a few days. I added the end of the words from the Alphabears set. I coloured them with Copics and diecut with a Lawn Fawn pierced rectangle die. The flower dies are my much used Hunkydory fabulous florals. I bought a few dies from a crafting friend having a clear out on Facebook and love the stitched butterfly dies I bought from her. I don't know the make unfortunately.
I am not liking this hot weather though it was lovely indoors yesterday with windows open and fans going. We wen for a walk at 8 o'clock last night when it cooled down a bit outside.

Golden Wedding #3
This is the last of the Golden Wedding cards I made, this one for my friend to give her husband. I used a large coloured simply print from LOTV called mouse and champagne as the card is 8x8. I diecut the image with a Go kreate frilly #10 die and inked the edges with wild honey DI. I used paper from LOTV and added some burlap. I found some gold glitter washi tape in my stahs and used the Dovecraft adhesive gold glitetr card again with a large heart die. I added a few of the waste hearts around the image. I kept it quite simple as it was for a male, personally I don't like adding flowers to male cards.

Ruby Wedding Mice
This is one of the cards I was asked to make this week. I used a LOTV simply print, printing out two so I could decoupage the balloon. The paper is an old Craftwork Cards one and I used a doily behind the diecut image. The flowers are from Wild Orchid.
We're off to get our click and collect shopping at lunchtime, such excitement! I'm sure we are all looking forward to the day we can browse the shops safely, have a meal out and feel safe around other people. That may be some time away I fear. Until then stay safe x

Stripes and buttons on launch day
Today is launch day for the last of the new Christmas images from Lili of the Valley. This one is squeaky stocking. Now I will admit to a bit of a disaster with this one but we crafters are very good at covering up things that go wrong. I had coloured it all with Copics except for some of the details like the stars as I wanted to sue sparkle pens. When I used a pink sparkle pen which hadn't been used for some time it pooled a bi and spoilt my colouring. So the pen went in the bin and I covered the stars with tiny buttons. I used MFT candy land papers, LOTV sentiment tags and a candy cane die I found in my stash which I think was a mag freebie. I also used a MFT stitched border die and some fun flock on the little hats.

Mouse garland
The latest edition of Crafts Beautiful is in the shops and this is the card I made for them this month. They asked for a simple bright Birthday card. I used an adorable LOTV image from one of the recent releases, Lillt friends garland and MFT bundle of blossoms brights papers. The sentiment is from LOTV and the apple blossom flowers from Wild Orchid.

LOTV new release
Well it is a bit cooler today thank goodness after a huge storm last night, as I can't bear the temperatures we have been having this week. I normally have an afternoon and evening in the craftroom on a Thursday whilst hubby is out but I was so hot I only managed to make one card. At least I am happy with it. I do love red white and kraft.
Image - LOTV mistletoe mice
Medium - Copics
Paper - LOTV
Dies - Sue Wilson cut and lift poinsettias
Other - ricrac, wooden bows, pearls
We are planning to go to the coast today. It should be a bit cooler there today.

Can it be? Yes another sneak peek
Those mice are back again for today's sneak peek. This time they are enjoying their gingerbread house. Just two days now until launch day.
Image - LOTV gingerbread house
Medium - Copics, Sakura pens, Nuvo glitter pens
Papers - Bo Bunny Winter wishes
Sentiment - Kaisercraft
Dies - Sue Wilson
I will be back tomorrow with a Birthday card for a change. Graham can drive from today so it is off to Tesco to restock the cupboards and then line dancing. It is going to be another very hot day and the next two days should be even hotter. I am not looking forward to that at all. We both hate it once it gets above about 23.

And another sneak peek
What a lovely surprise to receive yet more cute images for the LOTV launch on 25th July. I love these cute little mice and the stockings were such fun to colour. I normally shy away from lime green as it is my least favouroie colour of all, but when you have the paper and the pens that need using I gave it a go. I think the red tones it down a bit.
Image - LOTV mice and Christmas stocking
Medium - Copics
Paper - MFT candy land
Dies - The Works stitched squares
The little stocking charm was the perfect addition. Looking forward to a day out in the city today for a haircut and colour, lunch and maybe a little shopping.

The papers are LOTV which you can still get from Nitwits, 'twas the night. I used MFT stitched dome, Memory Box stocking a,d Lawn Fawn sentiment dies. I added the patterns to the stocking die with a white gel pen.

Springtime
I made this card for the lady who owns the vintage cafe and gift shop where I sell some of my cards and gifts. It was her 50th Birthday and she was also celebrating 4 years of Prima Rosa opening. Having this type of cafe/shop was always her dream and when I spotted the paper in a pack of The Works papers he sentiment couldn't have been better.
Image - LOTV simply print
Ribbon - Crafty Ribbons
Dies - Cheery Lynn faerie toadstools, cross stitch circle bought from Facebook group
Scrim - B&Q
Flowers - Wild Orchid
There is a national powerboat racing championship on today and tomorrow and hubby is volunteering both days on the rescue boats. That gives me two days at home so lots of crafting time which is just as well as I have several occasions coming up. Enjoy your Bank Holiday.
