Bundle girl

I don't seem to have had too much time for colouring lately so it was a joy to colour up this cutie with Copics. This is Stamping Bella bundle girl with a wood anemone  I got this stamp last Christmas from Dies to Die For in a Secret Santa pack they did.

I made it for a friend who loves pink.  The paper is from one of the new packs I bought on holiday, Paper Favourites shabby chic wood.  I went for a shabby chic look and found some ombre pink paper which I used with Joy flower dies.

The tiles came off in the kitchen on Tuesday and yesterday we emptied the kitchen cupboards. Today the worktops will be changed.  Tomorrow the new tiles will go up.  Thank goodness we have a conservatory to store everything in and a utility room to use as a kitchen.  Lunch out with friends today as it is their Golden Wedding on Saturday and they are going away for the night.  It means we won't have to cook a meal tonight which will be good.

Poppy

Another commissioned card. I was so pleased to be asked to make a card in this colour scheme as I love the dramatic look of it. I used Stamping Bella Poppy which I coloured with Copics. I haven't been colouring as much lately and I always find these girls quite a challenge to colour.  However I am really pleased with how it turned out.

The paper is my last sheet of MME all things chalk.  I Chose the wide red ribbon and thought I would add a narrower black spotted ribbon across it. The red flowers are from Hobbycraft and the black flowers have been in my stash for years so I just added some white pearls.  Unfortunately the flowers cast rather a shadow on the photo.

Audrey loves make up

I made this for a friend of mine who likes fashion and dressing up for occasions. The image and sentiment for Audrey loves make up from Stamping Bella is rather large so I kept the layout simple. I used some old backing paper and washi tape, enamel hearts and a Fiskars tag punch.

Enjoy your weekend. Not sure what our plans are yet.

Poppy

I love the Stamping Bella girls though they are quite a challenge to colour.  I was lucky enough to have this stamp as a Christmas pressie from my friend Lynsey. I coloured her with Copics and teamed her with First Edition wanderlust papers. I stamped on vellum for the sentiment for a change and used a Joy die for the flowers. I only have a grey Stazon ink pad so have just ordered a black one as that is the best ink to use on vellum without smudging. I am really enjoying getting back into some techniques I haven't used for ages.

Pulling candy canes

This is the card I made for my friend Lynsey and as I visited her for lunch yesterday with a couple of other friends I can now share her card with you. She actually bought me this cute Stamping Bella stamp for my Birthday so I knew she liked the image. I coloured it with Copics and fussy cut it to fit my little scene I created with some new MFT candy land papers.  I used a MFT mountain die and a Lawn Fawn forest border die. I diecut some trees from white glitter card, then smooshed some green 3d pearl effect onto paper and smooshed that over the trees.  he sentiment comes with the reindeer stamp.  Lynsey loves pink so I knew she would like this contemporary colour combo.

Autumn loves Autumn

I love Stamping Bella and have been longing for the opportunity to use this stamp Autumn loves Autumn. A friend's September Birthday was the perfect chance. It was one of the hardest images I have ever coloured as some of the pieces are so small. It looked so much better in real life than it photographed. It even looks like I didn't ground her but there is shading all around the image.  I have coloured her with Copics and added some doodling. The papers are Liliybee Autumn Spice. I used Lawn Fawn stitched leaf dies and Little Claire sentiment stamps.

Coffee and friends

I made this card for a friend whose Birthday was yesterday.  We enjoy meeting up for coffee so this Stamping Bella stamp seemed appropriate. I found it quite challenging to colour, with Copics of course. The mug is so big and the arms and legs so thin but it didn't come out to badly. I love the sentiment and have that on a large coffee cup plaque on our kitchen wall.  I kept it simple as it is such a large image, adding some doodling and enamel dots.

For a friend

I made this card for a crafting friend who was 70 last Saturday. She doesn't look 70 at all mind you. The image is Stamping Bella. I do love these garden girls and this one is lily of the valley. She has been coloured with Copics and he pretty papers are Bo Bunny Secret Garden. I added some lace from Crafty Ribbons and some Santoro leaf pins. The leaf die is a new one from The Works and the flowers were cut with Nellie Snellen flower dies. I used Dovecraft 3d effects in pastel purple around the image.

First commission for Papercraft Essentials

I was so pleased to be asked if I would join the design team at Papercraft Essentials and my fist commission for them is in the magazine in shops today. They asked me to add it to my blog today so here is one of the cards I made. The feature is about stretching your Easter stash to use for other occasions. I love these cute Stamping Bella bunnies which I coloured with Copics using chalk for the sky. The sentiment is my favourite LOTV teenage girls sentiment and the fun ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. I used an MFT scalloped border die and Joy flower dies.

Sweet Pea

I love the Stamping Bella Garden Girls, this one is sweet pea. I had a bit of difficulty colouring her as my V15 pen was running out and I hadn't realised when I started colouring her. I have since bought another but my pen running out meant I faffed a bit too much and the bottom of her skirt isn't shaded as well as it could be. I made it for a friend whose favourite colour is purple the same as mine.

The paper is LOTV and the lace is from Crafty Ribbons. I used a MFT wonky stitched rectangle die and added some enamel dots and doodling. I also used that free sentiment die again. Love the font.

Cup of Tea

I am sharing a guest designer card for My Mum’s Craft Shop today using several items from Kitty's shop. The papers and teacups are Pebbles Tealightful which go perfectly with the Stamping Bella image Edna's cup of tea which I coloured with Copics and added clear Wink of Stella to her wings as every fairy has to have sparkly wings.. The frame was made with a MFT scalloped circle frame die.

Rose

Today I am sharing another card as a guest designer for My Mum’s Craft Shop. I have used the gorgeous Stamping Bella Garden Girl Rose. She has been coloured with Copics and I added some doodling with a fineliner pen. I wanted to keep this cas so used minimal embellishments, just adding a Craftwork Cards sentiment, some scrim from B&Q and lace from Crafty Ribbons.

I would like to enter this into the anything goes challenge at Simon Says and the card challenge at The Ribbon Girl.

Have you entered my candy yet?

Time for another Christmas card, really need to get more made. I kept this card very simple using one of my new Embossalicious embossing folders. The image is by Mo Manning for Stamping Bella and is called Valerie with snowball. She has been coloured with Copics and I added lots of Stickles and pearl pen dots. So for embellishment I used ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a couple of Joy snowflakes dies with white glitter card.
