The Tailor of Gloucester

I do love sewing cards and I have used some Reddy Decoupage from Crafter's Companion for this card. I added the decoupage to a die cut tag cut from Core'dinations and added some faux stitching, seam binding, baker's twine, buttons and a cute little wire coathanger. The hinges were made with a Marianne sign die.

Beatrix Potter POTD

It's another gorgeous sunny morning here, hope it's the same where you are. I'm bringing you a couple more makes from the new Beatrix Potter launch starting tonight at 9pm on Ideal World. My first one is a doorhanger made from Core'dinations. The paper, ribbon, gems and decoupage are all from the new launch. I've sprayed the decoupage with Spray and Shine. The letters were made with a Tim Holtz die.

I would like to enter this into the decoupage challenge at Forever Friends.

My card was made using papers and toppers from the new Timmy Tiptoes CD. The stamp is from the new stamp set and I added some Crealie die cut swirls and a ribbon flower to make a new home card. I would like to enter this into the new home challenge at CRAFT and a bit o' green at Simon Says.

I'll be back in a while with another card I am currently working on and as I have now passed 1,300 followers, a fact which amazes me, I think it is time for some candy so watch this space.

Monday's sneal peek

Well after a horrible rainy weekend we woke up to a sharp frost and now the sun is shining, so looks like a beautiful day. I need to get some housework and ironing done this morning but before I do I wanted to share another sneak peek of the new Beatrix Potter collection launching tomorrow from Crafter's Companion. This is an 8 x 8 card using papers from the Benjamin Bunny CD along with a stamping tag. I stamped a sentiment and bunny from the stamp set coloured with Spectrum Noirs. I've used some of that scrim I told you about yesterday, baker's twine and button from stash along with some of the new Beatrix Potter ribbon and gems. The swirl is part of a Memory Box die and the corner a Sizzix die.

I've used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and added some small flowers to finish it off.

A quick post from me as I shall be back shortly with my Winter Wonderland DT card but I wanted to show another sneak peek of the gorgeous Beatrix Potter CDs. My card today was made using pyrimage and paper from The Two Bad Mice CD. As well as the new CDs and stamps being POTD on C&C there will also be a special offer on the other CDs too. I have also used some of the new Vintage Flower Power Core'dinations with one of the new Darice lace embossing borders ad an MS Cosmos and Xcut flower die. I have sanded them all to show off the lovely effect you get with this card. Gems from the new Beatrix Potter collection. Catch you all again shortly.

Sneak peek 2

If you are looking for the blog hop post please see my first post for today. This card was made using some of the brand new products from Crafter's Companion. I tend to think of clean lines for Beatrix Potter but I do like a bit of distressing and this image seemed to suit the distressed look. It's part of the new die cut decoupage kit, which is fabulous. It's lovely quality and only a few pieces for each one so not too fiddly. I've picked up the colour scheme from the fox's outfit. The paper, sentiment and ribbon are also new Beatrix Potter products. I've used some gorgeous new Vintage Flower Power Core'dinations which has been sanded and torn. I've added some Prima flowers and a brad and used an MS border punch.

I would like to enter this into the ribbon challenges at Charisma and Hotshot.

Beatrix Potter Sneak Peek and Blog Hop

This is my first sneak peek of the new Beatrix Potter range from Crafter's Companion. There are 3 new CDs and stamp sets, Jeremy Fisher, Benjamin Bunny and Timmy Tiptoes. There is also a range of die cut decoupage, rub ons, card blanks, paper pad, ribbons and gems. As if that wasn't enough there are two fabulous new Core'dination pads as well.

I decided to make a dinky easel card using Nestie scalloped circle dies and Centura Pearl card. I have used one of the stamps of Timmy Tiptoes, coloured with Spectrum Noirs with glossy accents added to the top of the umbrella. The matching paper is from the CD, sentiment from the stamp set. I've used DI worn lipstick and just added a bow.
