Birdhouses

I took these to the hospital shop last Friday and had a really good day there including selling one of these. So I just have one left looking for a home.

When I visited The Works recently I found some bare wooden birdhouse which I thought would make perfect Christmas decorations to sell. Hubby painted them and I set to decorating them.

I used lots of fun flock on the bottom for snow. The cute robins and wooden hearts came from Hobbycraft. I added some wooden pine cones and twigs and flowers from Wild Orchid. The bling I found in my stash and came from the Hobby House a few years ago when I won a challenge.

I used a white Wink of Stella pen on the roof, really pleased with the effect.

Birdhouses

If you saw the stash I brought home from America you may remember I bought some wooden birdhouses to decorate to sell. Well here they are and they will be on my stall today at the quarterly hospital craft fair. Hubby painted them cream and I decorated them.

The ribbon and lace are from Crafty Ribbons, paper is Papermania Henbury Lane. I added some butterflies bought in America and various birds and flowers.

Thanks to those of you asking if I am now better. Yes I am feeling better day by day and the cough gets less each day. Still not gone away completely but more of a niggling cough now. Thankfully I am not coughing at night so sleeping well.
