You're a Star

A quick post from me today as I need to get some more cards made. I've got all day meetings for the next 2 days so have to work later than usual and might not get much time for crafting but will try to visit your blogs. I just bought some digital downloads from the wonderful Pollycraft and this image is perfect for Digital Tuesday's challenge of all about kids. I am really pleased with the effect I got with his jeans. I wanted to give them a faded look so used the cornflower Promarker and then coloured ivory in a circular motion on top. The star is Cuttlebug and the sentiment is a Personal Impressions stamp. The fab sketch is from Crafts 4 Eternity and teenage boys is the theme at Secret Crafter.

My 6 new pink and purple Promarkers arrived today so I can't wait to use them this evening.

Here be dragons

This cute little fella was a Friday freebie from Pollycraft. Thanks Paula for these weekly freebies. It's the first time I have used him and I thought he would be perfect for a little boy's birthday so I used nice bright primary colours. He is coloured with my beloved Promarkers of course and some gold pen added to his tail and body. The sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp, the challenge at Rainbow Lady is dragon, at ABC B is for buttons and at Pile it on a male card is needed for Oh Boy.

Choo choo

This card is for theTruly Scrumptious Challenge 10. The challenge is to use their great sketch and some neglected stash. I bought this train made from handmade paper from Twiddleys long before I got hooked on stamping. The papers are from Dovecraft, bought last yar and not used for ages. The corner die cut is from Sizzix, again not used for some time. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out, so nice and bright for a little boy's birthday, and so different from my girly cards. This is also for Cute Card Thursday Challenge 66 Wheely Good Fun and Charisma Challenge 25. They are looking for cards any theme and any style.
