Dramatic

Something different today after all that pink yesterday. I think silhouettes make really interesting cards for a change and I love this digi image from Floppy Latte. I have teamed her with Paper Cellar Victorian Classic papers, some Prima flowers and pearl sprays from Wild Orchid. I've used DI Black Soot around the image.

I usually schedule my posts in the afternoon ready for the next morning but didn't have time yesterday so a quick post from me before I get some housework and ironing done, then I can head back to the craftroom, yippee.

My first DT card for Crafty Ribbons

I was so pleased to be asked to join the lovely team at Crafty Ribbons and I am delighted that the first challenge is Vintage as I absolutely love making vintage cards. We are split into 2 teams although this is not my week to post a card Mandy thought it would be nice if all the new girls (!) posted this week too. Most of my vintage cards are brown and creams but I wanted to use this stunning french roses ribbon which you can buy here. I've used a floppy latte cameo silhouette, Marianne designs Eline's Huis papers, TH distressing tool, Wild Orchid flowers, MS punched rose leaves with sanded Core'dinations, pearl pins from The Hobby House and DI Bundled Sage.

I have some of the new Christmas ribbons which are being released every day at the moment and I can tell you, these are fabulous.

Cameo

Time for a sketch challenge at Totally Gorjuss and I have gone for a vintage look again, but this time a feminine one. WE are sponsored this week by Joanna Sheen. I won some digis at Floppy Latte from an Incy Wincy challenge and I chose this cameo silhouette as one of them. I have gone for distressed edge and used Di Vintage Photo. The paper is Echo Park Victoria Garden, velvet ribbon from The Hobby House, flowers from various, fern and rose leaves were made with MS punches, Memory Box Macarena Corner die and sentiment from Lucy Cromwell range from Papermania.

I have scheduled this post as I will be selling at a craft fair all day. Hope you are having a good day whatever you are doing.
