Double Z fold stretch your stash

Yes, another of the cards made for Papercraft Essentials. I do like making double Z fold cards though my favourite cards to make are still square cards. The paper, hearts and flowers are all from the Mum in a Million pack and I just added a sentiment from LOTV and some enamel dots.  This is the last of these stretch your stash cards I am sharing.  Tomorrow I have another Christmas card to share.

Stretch your stash commission

I have another of the cards made for Papercraft Essentials to show you today. This one even made it to the front cover, although just a small pic top right if you have the magazine.  So far out of my comfort zone with these cards but they made me think about different ways to use a few items. I must admit the paper isn't a colour I would normally use. I used some of the heart stickers to form the stem and layered up the flowers.  The sentiment are all from the Mum in a Million set except the Happy Birthday which I stamped.  I would like to enter this into the Happy Birthday challenge at Simon Says.

I always post my cards on Pinterest and it is interesting to see which cards get repinned. I was so surprised that somebody pinned my first card made with this set.

Hospital shop selling today so hoping for lots of lovely customers. An early start so will be tired tonight but will be looking forward to the last episode of Marcella at 9 and then an early night.

Thank you, another magazine card

This is another of the cards I made for Papercraft Essentials showing how the Dovecraft Mum in a Million products can be used after Mother's Day.   I used some of the papers to create banners and added one of the sentiment stickers, added some ribbon, a flat bow and pearls.

Stash busting magazine commission

I was commissioned by Papercraft Essentials to create five cards showing how the Dovecraft Mum in a million products could be used after Mother's Day.  This was quite a challenge as I don't normally use stickers and there were no stamps or dies. I was asked to only add the minimum of extra embellishments. So this is one of the cards I made, raising the sticker on foam pads and adding patterned card candi to the flower centres.

The last of five cards I made for Papercraft Essentials in the 5 cards for £10 feature seems an appropriate card for today. If you saw my previous posts you will know that I had to make the cards using a champagne glass die, gold glitter card and a pack of coloured glitter. I used to die to create two apertures and backed them with gold glitter card. For the purple glitter strip I attached a strip of double sided tape and sprinkled with glitter.

Happy Boxing Day. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas Day, we did. I have two more of the cards I made for Papercraft Essentials magazine. If you saw the first post with these cards you will know I was given the champagne glass die, coloured glitters and gold glitter card and asked to make 5 cards for just £10 using the minimal of other items from my stash.  So for this one I added some sentiment ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

The sentiment stamp is from LOTV and I simply cut the glitter card into banners. To achieve the pearlised glitter effect on the glass diecut I mixed a little of all the glitters together and sprinkled them over the diecut which I had covered with Stick It.

Simon Says party time

We are taking my Mum out for lunch today in Cromer and then going to see the afternoon Christmas show on the Pier before taking her home. The show has excellent reviews and when we have been in the past it has always been good.

Champagne

I have five cards published in the latest Papercraft Essentials magazine. I had to create the cards for £10 using a champagne glass die, gold glitter card and a pack of different coloured glitters. Quite a challenge but here are two of the cards I came up with.  For this one I added som doodling, a stamped sentiment from Stamposaurus and wooden hearts.

I used DI wild honey for this one and randomly added some mini glue dots and gold glitter.

Busy day today, shopping, meeting Mum for breakfast, facial and massage then food shopping. Looking forward to the interviews on The Apprentice tonight.

Chloe

I used my favourite Go Kreate frilly squares 10 die for my card which is one of the stretch your Easter stash cards made for Papercraft Essentials. This is actually Easter Chloe and she is carrying a basket of eggs. It shows how you can use seasonal images for other occasions by using just part of the image. She has been coloured with Copics, ribbon and buttons from Crafty Ribbons, sentiment is my much used one from the LOTV teenage girl set. The scalloped frame was made with an MFT die.

In the meadow

Yes it's another stretch your Easter stash card made for Papercraft Essentials. I bought some dies at Ally Pally to make this card. The flowers and leaves are actually part of a Memroy Box springtime floral egg die. I cut away the egg to use just the flowers and leaves. The papers are Maja Coffee in the Arbour. I used Lawn Fawn puffy clouds and Memory Box cloud dies. I do like a sentiment stamped onto a cloud. I also bought the hare, rabbit and grass dies which are Craft Emotions.

Flower cart

Our LOTV Facebook challenge this month is feature a creature. This is my DT inspiration card and is another of the cards I made for Papercraft Essentials using your Easter stash. The image has daffodils in the cart so I diecut some flowers using a joy die and covered over the daffodils.

The LOTV image is a precoloured simply print which I diecut with a MFT pierced rectangle die. the cloud paper is from the Pebbles tealightful pack and I added a doily and a LOTV digi sentiment. The other dies used are MFT sun and Crafts Too butterflies.

The Ribbon Girl a card

We have been in Liverpool since Sunday, staying opposite the Albert Dock and visiting many of the famous Beatles landmarks. Travelling home today. We really have had a fabulous time, very impressed with the regenaration esepcially of the Albert Dock. Sorry if I haven't popped by your blog, a lot to pack in whilst we were there.

Basket of flowers

This is the second of the cards I made for Stretch your Easter Stash for Papercraft Essentials magazine.  I didn't actually have much Easter stuff so I was very pleased to buy this Memory Box bountiful basket die reduced when I went to Ally Pally in April. It would look lovely filled with eggs for an Easter card of course. I used DI aged mahogany to bring out the embossing on the die and filled it with MS punched leaves and Wild Orchid cherry blossom and roses. I used silver acrylic paint on the cherry blossom, added a bow and sentiment. The circle was cut with a Tonic trellis circle die.

First commission for Papercraft Essentials

I was so pleased to be asked if I would join the design team at Papercraft Essentials and my fist commission for them is in the magazine in shops today. They asked me to add it to my blog today so here is one of the cards I made. The feature is about stretching your Easter stash to use for other occasions. I love these cute Stamping Bella bunnies which I coloured with Copics using chalk for the sky. The sentiment is my favourite LOTV teenage girls sentiment and the fun ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. I used an MFT scalloped border die and Joy flower dies.
