I haven't made a white on white card for ages, nor have I used my embossing folders for a long time. So time to remedy that. I used an old embossing folder for the background, then diecut some mountains and hills using MFT dies. I added some diecut trees, the coloured image from Sassy Chery; and a ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

New ribbons
There are some lovely new ribbons out this week at Crafty Ribbons and more to come. The first of my samples uses this gorgeous snowman ribbon calles Santa's Grotto - snowman, which I have teamed with a fun precoloured Sassy Cheryl digi from Paper Creators. The papers are Studio Light Scandinavian, dies are Memory Box and Joy snowflakes used with aqua glitter card. I also used some lovely aqua pearls from The Hobby House and my fave pearl pen.

Paper Creators Christmas
We have been away for a couple of days to Clacton. We stayed overnight Sunday night, had a lovely day at the seaside and went to a 60's show in the evening. Then on Monday we went to the outlets and came home in the afternoon. A nice little break away in a busy month.
Have you entered my candy yet?

Last month's Making Cards magazine
I can now share these fun cards with you which I made for Making Cards magazine using Sassy Cheryl digis from Paper Creator. I made 3 CAS cards, yes I did say 3 CAS cards. I used Tim Holtz sentiment dies attached with Stick It, marvellous stuff for tricky intricate dies. I also used MFT stitched rectangle and Sizzix primitive star dies. A bit of faux stitching on this one too.

Back to school
Not long now until the children go back to school though I know in Scotland they are already back. I printed out this cute Sassy Cheryl image from paper Creator's and used Prima Youth papers and some punched stars which had been run through my paper crimper.

Joy
Another cas card from me today. I would never get all my Christmas cards made if I made them all fussy and fancy and as we all know not everybody appreciated how much work has gone into them. These Sassy Cheryl images are such fun and of course they make a lovely quick card. I am enjoying experimenting with cas with different embellishments and minimal papers. For this one I just added pearls, twine and a charm. Placing the image at an angle just adds a bit of interest.

We had a lovely afternoon at the coast yesterday. The weather was gorgeous. Then we went for an
Italian meal and saw Talon, brilliant Eagles tribute band. Still warm when we came out of the theatre. I am selling at one of my regular craft fairs this afternoon. Enjoy your day and don't forget my candy ends soon.

A card for many occasions
This is another of the precoloured digis I won recently and I thought what a great image for several occasions, birthdays, back to school, well done. The ribbons is meant to be a tape measure but I thought it could also be used as a ruler.

Here I am with the first of my September cards as a Guest Designer at Papertake Weekly. Can you believe, one month's cards gone already. Being the first challenge of the month means it is anything goes and this month's option is to make a Christmas Card. I won some Sassy Cheryl illustrations recently from Paper Creator.
