Pink ballerina

Here's my second post for today. Please scroll down to see today's Humphrey card. This is my DT card for Whoopsi Daisy where the challenge this week is more than one fold. If you check out the challenge my card is missing at the moment in error but hopefully will be added later. I have used another of Linnie's ballerinas on this side stepper card. The paper is Henbury Lane, flowers are Prima with roses from Michaels. Here I am with my DT card for Whoopsi Daisy where the challenge is to bling it. I coloured the digi fairy with Promarkers and then sprayed her with Spray and Sparkle which doesn't really show in the photo unfortunately. The paper is Prima Fairy Flora and I added a gold doily, Prima flowers, spacer, brad, Marianne die cut embossed leaves and punched butterfly.

Autumn Ballet

Good morning everyone. A quick post from me as I am off out for the day. A quick trip to Sainsburys then off to the coast where there is a craft shop I visit occasionally who have 20% of everything this Bank Holiday weekend. Hubby is buying me a Grand Caliber for my Birthday. I know it is just over a month away but 20% off is too good a bargain to miss. Wonder what other goodies they have in store, mmm.

Our challenge this week at Whoopsi Daisy is Autumn Colours. I love Linnie's ballerina images and have made an 8 x 8 card. I added texture by embossing some Core'dinations and sanding it and adding a large flower with a spacer and brad and some ribbon. The small flower has been coloured with Promarkers, as has the image. I have used the fab sketch at Card and a Half who also want texture.

Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me

This is one of my favourite images from the talented Linnie and my DT card for this week's challenge of Summer Fun over at Whoopsi Daisy where there are some gorgeous DT cards as always. I coloured him with Promarkers and added some glossy accents to the water. I used a new Forever Friends boat embossing folder which I found reduced in The Range. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. You know I love bunting and it just seemed so appropriate for this image. The anchor charm and brad are from The Works.

Toy Elephant

Good morning everyone from a very sunny Norwich. I've been for a walk this morning and when I switched on my e-mail found one saying the Crafter's Companion samples I am working on need to be sent tomorrow rather than Wednesday as planned.That means another quick post from me with no time for bloghopping. I will catch up as soon as I can.

This is my DT card for this week's easy challenge of Anything Goes at Whoopsi Daisy.  I coloured the elephant with Spectrum Noirs and tried to give the effect of soft material. Papers are Papermania Boysenberry. I used my MS PATP Cherish set and added ribbon, pearls and lots of buttons.

Birdcage

This week at Whoopsi Daisy our challenge is Let's Get in Shape so we want to see a shaped card from you. I love making these shaped easel cards with Go Kreate dies. I kept this simple to show off Linnie's gorgeous image which I coloured with Promarkers. I used a Sakura goldstar pen on the birdcage and a Prima sparkly flower. I would like to enter this into the shaped cards challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and no pink or blue at Crafty Catz,

Another dull day today which got cooler as the day went on, instead of warmer. I changed the bed this morning and had the bed linen out all day and it still isn't dry. I'm hoping for a nice Autumn now! I've been out and about all day again today so no time for crafting or blogging but will have a bit if time this evening. I'm off to the hairdresser's tomorrow morning but I will be scheduling my first Crafter's Companion sneak peek combined with a bloghop which you are definitely going to want to play as there will be a great prize on offer. Taking a bath

Well I never got back on the laptop yesterday as hubby wanted to use it to complete the holiday DVD he is making from our March holiday. Still he is at work today so I have it all to myself and will be able to do some visiting and commenting later. I also have a large pile of ironing as I did 2 loads of washing yesterday. Just as well as it poured later on and today is dull and rainy too.

This is my DT card for Whoopsi Daisy where this week's challenge is Sparkle and Shine. I think this is such a fun and cute image with her clothes and wand hanging up waiting to be put on. I added glitter to the bath and wings, used a Sakura rosestar pen on lots of the details and added a glittery bow and pearls and used glossy accents to the mirror for the sparkle and shine. The ribbon roses I found in my stash and added rose petal leaves from Joanna Sheen and some lace. The paper I also found in my stash so no idea what make it is. It is so pretty that I only use one DP on this card for a change.

Good morning everyone. I'm having a very busy day today. Have done some housework, washing and ironing and just taking a quick break before heading out to do some gardening. Also sorting out my stuff for Wednesday as I am going to a vintage garden party where I will be selling my cards all day and helping out with book stall etc. Hope the sun shines as it is here at the moment. Hope to get in some crafting and blogging later.

This is my DT card using one of the lovely Linnie's images for Whoopsi Daisy. The papers are Papercellar Victorian Burgundy and Papermania. The sentiment has been distressed with Frayed Burlap DI, flowers are Prima with some material flowers and gems.

Hot, hot, hot

Don't you just love Blogger sometimes, lol!!!! It wouldn't upload my image in compose mode, switched to edit HTML tried again and voila, my card appeared. This is my DT card for Whoopsi Daisy where the challenge is Hot, hot, hot. I decided to go with hot colours for a change. The image is Whoopsi Daisy and I used some freebie papers, Country Diary. I added some punched flowers with gems and a punched butterfly. The little button hat my Mum gave me when she had a sort out of her buttons and I thought finished the card off perfectly.

I've had such a busy week that I haven't had much time for blogging. I've been out all weekend too so tomorrow morning plan to spend some time visiting and commenting. Christmas in June

How ironic on what has been the hottest day of the year so far I am sharing a Christmas card with you. We've has a lovely day out at the coast today. This is my first DT card for Whoopsi Daisy where the challenge is Christmas in June. This gives you a chance to make a card to fit in with some of those Christmas challenges. The image is from Whoopsi Daisy and I used some glitter flock for the snow and used my crealie swirl die. The snowflakes were made with a Marianne die and an MS punch and white glitter card..

I may not be around much this week as I have some work to do for Crafter's Companion and my stuff coming for my craftroom this week. It's also the Royal Norfolk Show this week and we plan to go one day so a busy week ahead.

Dancing Queen

This week at Totally Gorjuss the DT were lucky enough to be given our choice of digis from our sponsor Whoopsie Daisy. It's a nice easy challenge too, bling it, so let's see that bling. For mine I added glitter to her dress and flower in her hair, used pearlised card for matting and sparkly gems were added to the punched flowers. The papers are First Edition again and I added some seam binding and ribbon.
