I haven't made a white on white card for ages, nor have I used my embossing folders for a long time. So time to remedy that. I used an old embossing folder for the background, then diecut some mountains and hills using MFT dies. I added some diecut trees, the coloured image from Sassy Chery; and a ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

White and gold
White on white must be the hardest to photograph but hopefully you can see how pretty this card turned out. I was lucky enough to have a voucher for Dies to Die For as part of my Birthday present from Lynsey and I saved it until the new release from MFT, I love snowflake dies and although I have several just had to buy the layered set. They are my current favourite snowflakes so you will be seeing a lot of them. They can be layered in various ways or used alone of course. I used an embossing folder and white and white glitter card with the dies. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz die and I added just a touch of gold with tiny pearls and some star ribbon I found in Tiger. I don't know if you have Tiger where you live but they sell all kinds of things including stationery and what crafter can resist a stationery shop. You never know what you will find. I also bought some wooden heart tags which I made into Christmas decorations.

We are out for a carvery with friends tonight so looking forward to that. This has been a quiet week for a change which has meant plenty of crafting time. Just as well as the next two weeks are full of craft fairs and theatre visits.

White on white
Well Blogger threw a hissy fit for me yesterday morning and judging by some comments on Facebook I wasn't alone. It said there had been unexpected activity and wanted me to enter a code, which I did, and then enter another code and so on, just wouldn't let me in. Thankfully it did let me in after I left it a while but it meant I couldn't do my normal morning commenting.
Anyway all was well when I scheduled this card yesterday afternoon so hopefully it is still working so I can catch up. I love white on white cards but they are not the easiest to photograph. I used an Embossalicious folder with Core'dinations, Sue Wilson filigree poinsettia, shabby white frantage, pearl sprays from Wild Orchid, pearl strip from a friend and white ribbon.

White on White with a touch of red
I love White on White cards and I sometimes think a little touch of colour really sets them off. I used another of my new Woodware stamps. I doodled inside the numbers to match the border and added frantage and Viva Decor pearl pen drops to the sentiment. I used a Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, velvet ribbons from Crafty Ribbons, flowers from stash and ruby pearls from The Hobby House.

A WOW card to die for
Where is this week going? I seem to have been so busy that I haven't had much time for crafting. I usually have at least a couple of posts scheduled but I have none at the moment. Still hubby is off out tonight to watch the powerboat racing so I shall be in the craftroom getting ahead hopefully.
So here's a card I made this morning before getting on with the housework. I wanted to make something different and had a play around with some diecuts and Centura pearl card. The vase I made from cutting around a diecut Spellbinders vase which had a cut our pattern on it and I wanted a solid vase to emboss. The flowers are some new purchases, Lily of the Valley and Bluebells. Small butterfly and watering can are Marianne dies and the other butterflies are Cheery Lynn. Just a few pearls on the butterflies and card made.

White on White
I've never tried just a white on white card before but have been wanting to give it a go so here it is. Not at all easy to photograph though. I have used linen and Centura pearl card for different textures. I've used a Sizzix embossing folder and MB Prim Poppy and floral vine dies and Cheery Lynn butterfly dies. Just an added bow and there you have it. Rather elegant isn't it.
