It's my third week as Guest DT member for The Crafty Pad and our challenge this week is paper piecing. I decided to use one of my fave digis from The Crafty Pad and that is the beach hut. Now I don't know how you paper piece a digi but I scanned the printed image onto a sheet of white paper and then cut round it and placed it on the patterned paper. I drew round it on the back and voila, my beach hut was of course back to front, with the cut out for the ball on the right, oops! Turned over my template and tried again.

Hi Marianne, A lovely Summery card - the beach hut looks fabulous in those colours - love the light house too. I have paper-pieced digis by putting the dp through my printer and printing the digi onto it...if the sheet is too small, it sometimes takes it better if I put it through with a sheet of white paper too. Great having you with us this month Marianne! I love the beach hut image too! When I paper piece, I print directly on to the Design Paper.
If the DP is too small, I tape it onto a piece of white paper then run through the printer!
