It's launch day with some buried treasure

As promised yesterday I am back with another card using one of the coloured simply prints. There are 24 new digis and 25 coloured simply prints out today at Lili of the Valley. This one is buried treasure. I have used some old Docrafts papers which were just perfect for this image. The ribbon is from crafty Ribbons and I used Joy dies plus a seagull die which came with a beach chair die.

This launch is perfect for male cards as there is a huge variety of images.

How are you all coping with the lockdown? I have been pleasantly surprised by how well we are doing. I think already being retired has helped a great deal as we are used to being at home. I feel sorry for people stuck in a flat with children. It must be really hard trying to home school particularly if you are working from home and have no garden or nice outside space. I do look forward to a slight easing and being able to drive over to see my Mum even if it means having a chat on the doorstep rather than just FaceTiming her.

Absolutely wonderful card Marianne, love the little pirate and your design and embellishments are fabulous.
I'm much of the same mind Marianne, and feel fortunate that we don't lead complicated lives, it must be horrendous for some people as you've stated above, but also thinking of some of my former clients, who because of their mental health issues, they are compelled to go out, staying in during the day is not an option for them. Anyhoo, we all carry on as well as we can and stay safe and we'll get through it, hugs Kate x

Another super card showcasing the new stamps, this looks like a fabulous new collection.
Like you Marianne we are coping well with the lockdown, like you say, being retired, having a garden and having our hobbies really helps - also having a fixed income that hasn't changed is a huge benefit.

OH! What a wonderful card Marianne, so many little details will make this a favourite card for a little boys special day.
I agree with your comments on lockdown and feel so lucky to have a lovely garden, especially as we have also had good weather.
Keep safe and well

Fabulous card, any little boy will love this card. We are doing okay, managing to get jobs done in the garden and around the house. So happy I have my crafting too.
