The show last night was such fun and full of 80’s songs, a real feel good show. Here's another image I have had stamped for ages and I finally got round to colouring with Copics. I used a MFT mini cloud stencil and chalk for the sky. The papers are Nikki Sivils Tree Love. I added some wooden leaves, flowers from Wild Orchid and The Ribbon Girl and some butterflies from Poundland.

One for the boys for a change
Here is another of the images I coloured last Friday. It was so nice just dipping into my box of stamped and printed images and colouring whatever I fancied. I haven't coloured one of the Oliver stamps from LOTV for quite a while. Unlike some crafters I love making male cards. I used MFT rainbow stripes papers and wonky stitched rectangle. The Fiskars tag punch came out again and I punched the stars using Hobbycraft punches.
We are off to the theatre again tonight, that's twice in one week! We will be going for a meal first with friends and then we are going to see Club Tropicana, an 80's musical, which should be fun.

It's launch day
Yes, today is launch day for the adorable new stamps, both rubber and digi, from Lili of the Valley. I hope you will be buying some and sharing your makes with us on the We Love Lili of the Valley group on Facebook as well as your blogs of course. I used Go Kreate frilly 7 dies for the card base and papers which are some old Pebbles teatime ones. The sentiment is part of one of the new stamps sets too. I used some old heart paper with MFT stitched cloud dies and a Fiskars tag punch. The wooden butterfly was coloured with a Nuvo strawberry bonbon glitter marker. I added a couple of tiny wooden hearts and some very old paper flowers.

Christmas fairy
I had a lovely time colouring some images on Friday whilst our new windows were being fitted. After doing the ironing there really wasn't anything useful I could do. I coloured 10 images so yesterday I was able to make three cards and have seven coloured images left to use. I really enjoy a colouring session like that and must do that more often.
I adore Marina Fedotova's beautiful artwork and Whimsy Stamps now have several of her designs which used to be sold by Sugar Nellie. This is Snowflake Wishes coloured with Copics. I used a Sakura clearstar pen for the silver bells and snowflakes and a Spectrum Noir moonlight sparkle brush pen on her wings. Having the image already coloured gave me more time to spend on the card and I got out my heat gun to use with the Stampendous chunky white embossing enamel. I used MFT wonky stitched rectangle and circle dies, a snowflake die, Memory Box I think plus a Tonic snowflake punch. The papers are Wild Rose Frosted Lace.

Hippo Birthday
A much simpler card today as promised. I have used one of the coloured digis from Pink Gem, First Edition It's a Girl papers, Gummiapan double heart die, LOTV tenage girl sentiment stamp, ribon and pearls.
We are looking forward to a meal out at Bella Italia with friends and then we are going to a show at the theatre, one of our favourite pastimes. We have so many shows booked this year, it is nice to have lots to look forward to.

Cute new mice
I seem to be in fussy and fancy mood with some of my cards at the moment and it is lovely to have time to fiddle with my designs and use some different things in my stash. Under the weather
Another card made with the thinking of you art sheet from LOTV. I used MFT winky stitched rectangle die, First Edition it's a girl papes, sentiment from Pink Gem, lace from Crafty Ribbons and diecut a butterfly using a Memory Box die.
We are having a new bedroom and craftroom window fitted tomorrow. hat means today I need to clear some of my craftroom such as the desk and other loose items. I have been wanting to give the room a good clean as it is impossible to dust everything thoroughly every week like the rest of the house. This will be my opportunity once the window has been fitted in there.

Love 2 Read
I am loving the fact that I am doing far less craft fairs and have given up the hospital shop. I only have 5 fairs booked so far starting next month. I hope to find a few more for later in the year but they will need to be promising for me to book them. It has certainly given me more time to make exactly what I want and when I want it. I have so many other things I enjoy, one of them being a good book. I have loved reading ever since I learnt to read and always have a book on the go, with lots more ready to read.
I have been lucky enough to meet one of my favourite authors three times in the last three years. As this series is set in Norfolk the books are launched in Jarrolds, a independent department store with a great book department. I read her latest book in 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. I used papers from Echo Park Summer Days pack, added some washi tape, American thickers letters, Lawn Fawn diecut bunting and some journal tabs from my stash.

New toadstool home
I was asked to make some cards using the Thinking of You art sheets for Lili of the Valley. This is my first card. Such a sweet image. I love playing around with papers to create the design and found these MFT rainbow stripe papers at the bottom of my MFT paper pile. I used Joy flower and Lawn fawn bunting dies to echo the bunting on the image.
I am feeling a lot better now, just need to finally get rid of the cough which is much better but doesn't seem to want to go away completely.

Snow friends
My first Christmas card this month, oh dear, need to get some more made. Another first use of this stamp which is odd considering it has two of my Christmas faves, a snowman and a penguin, what more could you want. I loved making this card. I think it is so much better to make a Christmas card every now and again rather than leaving them all until later in the year.
Image - LOTV North Pole stamp set
Medium - Copics
Papers - Wild Rose Frosty Lace
Dies - MFT wonky stitched oval, Joy trees
Sentiment - LOTV
Other - shabby white frantage, fun flock

Another cute bunny
Yes another bunny today but this time it is one of four new images from Lee Holland, which you can buy from the Lee Holland digi shop. This would cheer anyone up who is felling poorly. I know some of you are suffering colds, viruses or chest infections and I hope you are better soon. A friend of mine has been in bed most of the week with a severe chest infection. We are still not fully recovered. There are some days when we feel pretty much ok and others when we feel tired and it is a struggle to do anything. The coughs are much better though still not completely gone.
So back to my card
Medium - Copics
Papers - Bo Bunny secret garden
Dies - Joy flowers, MFT fringed scallops and Go Kreate frilly 10

Blogger commenting and Google +
I am still having problems some days where people have embedded comments on their blogs. I am not alone as I have seen other bloggers having the same issue. I do my commenting on my Ipad and it may just be an issue on tablets and phones. If you have embeded comments please change them to a pop up box by going to settings and comments.
Another issue is Google+. I don’t use it but I notice some commenters do as when I have clicked on their names it takes me to Google+. I can’t comment on posts on there. I have also seen messages that Google+ is disappearing so if you use it then the suggestion is that you switch to blogger.
Back tomorrow with a card.
Enjoy your weekend x

Green fairy
I thought I would have a change from the new LOTV stamps and use another of the new fairy coloured art sheets to make a quicker card. As I had the Crate Paper Farmhouse papers out the other day I cut some for another layout and this fairy matched perfectly. I diecut her with an MFT wonky stitched circle die. he sentiment is from the LOTV teenage girl set and I used old EK flower punches.

Spring has sprung (we wish)
Daffodils and lambs, definitely Springtime images. This is another card made using some of the new LOTV stamps launching this month. The three stamps are from the Spring Sweeties stamp set and work well together. I coloured with Copics and added some doodling. The backing paper is MFT and I found the perfect matching colour flowers in my stash.

Another sneak peek
My desk is so full of cute images and I just want to use them all. This is another of the new Spring Sweeties from LOTV launching at the end of the month. The sentiment is also from the set. After yesterday's colourful card I have gone for a pastel and shabby chic look today.
Papers - Anna Marie Blissful Pink
Medium - Copics
Die - Crafts Too butterflies
Other - cheesecloth, ribbon and lace
It was so lovely to have that massage and facial yesterday after feeling so poorly for so long. I really felt good afterwards, more so than I usually do. Going into Norwich today as hubby needs a haircut so a bit of retail therapy and a nice lunch out.

Bunnies in pots
Another sneak peek from the new LOTV stamp release. These are two separate stamps plus one of the sentiments from the Spring Sweeties stamp sheet. They will also be available as individual digi images. I just couldn't resist using them both as they look so sweet looking at each other.
Medium - Copics
Papers - Crate Paper Framhouse
Punches - EK success flowers
Other - pearl flowers and Wild Honey distress ink
My cold is finally on the way out, with the virus before it I have been poorly for the last month or so. I am only coughing a little bit and looking forward to when that goes completely. A nice pamper this afternoon with a back massage and facial.

LOTV sneak peek number one
Have you spotted the sneak peeks appearing on blogs and Facebook from the Lili of the Valley design team? They are all cute animals and although they are all gorgeous this one might just be my favourite. There will be four sets of rubber stamps and they will also be available as digis so something to please everyone as art sheets will also be coming out but no date for those yet. The stamps will be launched at Make It Farnborough show on 22 Feb and they will be on sale at the end of February.
I added one of the sentiment stamps which comes as part of the rubber stamp Fluffy Birthday set. I kept the layout very simple, colouring with Copics and using Lawn Fawn puffy cloud dies with MFT papers. I will be sharing more of these cuties and will have a cute bunny card tomorrow.

First Lee Holland DT card
I am so pleased to have joined the new DT for Lee Holland Illustrations as I love his cute digis. This is love bugs and can be bought singly or as part of a bundle. I coloured them with Copics and added some clouds using a MFT small cloud stencil. I should have coloured them a bit darker but only decided to add the clouds after I had put the card together so it was a bit awkward using the stencil.
The papers are MFT and the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. I added some wooden leaves and hearts from Hobbycraft and flowers from Wild Orchid. The sentiment is from Stamposaurus.
You can find Lee's digis at Lee Holland digi shop and you will find lots more inspiration from the DT at Lee Holland Facebook page.

This is the last of the four coloured art sheet Jasmine cards. This time I used a Lawn Fawn stitched circle die, MFT papers and pierced banner die, LOTV teenage girl sentiment and some card candi.
Short and sweet post today.

Rummaging through my printed images I found this one from All Dressed Up which I have onky used once before. Coloured with Copics and diecut with a stitched die from The Works. The papers are Nitwits Romance and Roses. I used a Doohickey lace border die and a Gummiapan double heart die. The sentiment ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, flowers from Wild Orchid.

Fairy Lily Magic
I have another card using one of the coloured art sheets from Lili of the Valley. This is also available as a stamp called Fairy Lily Magic. I used one of my fave MFT wonky stitched dies, MFT paper and a square doily. The Memory Box precious star die has been out again along with a sentiment die and a star punch.
So hubby's virus turned onto a cold a week or so ago and guess what, so has mine now. I don't feel too bad but still coughing a bit and now I have a runny nose too. Roll on Spring. Talking of which there are some adorable new stamps coming out at the end of the month from LOTV. I have them ready to colour so expect sneak peeks soon. They are sooooooooooo cute.

Looking good
I have another of the Jasmine cards using the new coloured art sheet. The papers are MFT again and I used MFT wonky stitched circle and stitched jumbo banner dies. I used a very old Martha Stewart flower punch and a Fiskars tag punch. I also used some of my neglected card candi and a teenage girl sentiment from LOTV. The MFT paper pads are certainly getting some use at the moment, I just love the colours and neat designs.
I am excited as tonight we going to a special event at a local independent department store to see one of my favourite crime authors, Elly Griffiths. We have the VIP package so will be having drinks and bowl food before she gives a talk and personally signs her new hardback which is officially launched tomorrow. This is no 10 in one of the series she writes, which is set in Norfolk. I have read them all, so has my Mum. Graham doesn't read anywhere near as much as me but he is doing well, being on book 7 of this series.

Cute mice
It was my friend Lynsey's Wedding Anniversary on Sunday and this is the card I made for them. Another stamp I haven't used before. The image was stamped and waiting to be coloured. I am doing quite well so far working my way through my box of stamped images. I coloured it with Copics and added some doodling. The papers are MFT again and I used some MFT border dies, Gummiapan heart dies and a Marianne heart balloon die. The sentiment is from a Stamposaurus set.

New Lily art sheet
So my card today features one of the coloured art sheets from LOTV starring their new image, Lily the fairy. After my neat Jasmine cards I went for a distressed look sing some old Mulberry Kisses papers from First Edition. I found the cotton ribbon in my stash, used MFT wonky stitched oval and Joy butterfly dies, the latter with sanded Core'dinations. The flowers are from Wild Orchid.

New Home and a New Die
i made this for one of my crafting friends who has just moved house. She likes CAS cards and yellow so I kept it simple. The papers are MFT and I used a new die I bought just before Christmas. I saw it on Carole Pollard's blog and liked the quirky shape and embossed detail. I thnk it is meant to be for Christmas but I would use it any time. I am also thinking I could cut some of the branches off and use it as a sign post. The image is one of a trio of digis from LOTV which I diecut with a Lawn Fawn stitched circle die and coloured with Copics. The sentiment I found stamped in my stash but I think is from LOTV.
We have a fun day planned, more on that tomorrow.

Relaxing
This is the second of the cards I have made using the new LOTV coloured Jasmine art sheet. I have the stamps set but it was nice to use a coloured image for a quicker card. The papers are MFT, flower die Nellie Snellen, pierced banner die MFT, sentiment LOTV teenage girls and I added some enamel dots.
It's been very cold here with just a light dusting of snow a few times that froze on the garden and shed roofs but that is all. Hope you are all staying warm. Glad I am not in mid west America, the weather there is awful.

Elephant for Crafts Beautiful
The new issue of Crafts Beautiful is in the shops and this is the card I made for it. I love the cute elephant which is one of Lee Holland's digis. You can find them at the Lee Holland digi shop. I used MFT hearts and stripes papers and added an Inkylicious sentiment. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, flowers from Hobbycraft. The pretty die is from Swedish House Crafts and is Gummiapan Inversus.
We are having our heating serviced this morning then will probably go out for coffee and some shopping then maybe some crafting.
I was delighted to see my card on the front cover again.
