Has it stopped raining?

Friday and time for my snowflakes team to choose the challenge and this week the theme is monochrome. This will be the last non Christmas challenge for our team. Of course you can choose to make a Christmas project if you like. You must only use one colour plus skin and hair. I don't often make an all blue card and I find black hair quite difficult so challenged myself with this card. Her hair isn't perfect but it probably the best black hair I have managed so far. I've used a gorgeous Saturated Canary image and Papermanis Capsule papers. I've added stickles to her petticoat and glossy accents for the puddle. I've used MS cherish border punch, MB umbrella and cloud dies with sanded Core'dinations and Centura pearl card. Come and join in the challenge and you could win a £10 voucher from

Challenges
Everybody Art Monochrome blue
Simon Says Anything Goes
Joanna Sheen 3 papers, 2 types of embellishment and 1 image

it was that windy on Wednesday afternoon when I went to have a stroll around a local lake, trouble is, all the footpaths and seats were under water, and the trees were nearly bending double so I beat a hasty retreat LOL.
A delightful card, I love the blues :o)

Gorgeous! I love the monochromatic palette you have here.. the umbrellas down the side is a genius design element that evokes movement, and the border punch down the side mimics the umbrella shape perfectly! Fantastic card. :) Thanks for playing along with us over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog! xo
