Wicker bunting

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MUMS.

This week I have several different things to share with you rather than cards. These are two sets of bunting I made to sell. They look really pretty and if they sell then I will definitely be making some more.

The wicker hearts are from a set of lights I bought for my stall a couple of years ago to use at Christmas. I then had them at home inside a square glass vase and they looked lovely. Recently though the lights started to flicker so I was going to throw them away. Of course being a crafter I then thought maybe I can recycle them so I pulled out the lights, cut off the cable and tied them to ribbon and added flowers from Wild Orchid.

We will be collecting my Mum this morning, coming back to ours for coffee and then taking her for a nice lunch before taking her home.

These are gorgeous Marianne and a brilliant way of recycling your broken lights. They would also look fab as single hearts.

Oh that is SO clever Marianne! I love an 'upcycled' 'repurposed' creation! I think that's beyond clever and the end result is quite enchanting. I particularly love the pink version, but both are simply fabulous! Hugs, Wends xoxo

Great idea Marianne. I have some individual ones too.....minus the lights.....that I bought in France. Didn't think of making a garland with them. Great idea. Thanks for sharing. Hugs Wynn x
