I had a sort out of a lot of my papers last week and went through each paper pad removing any I thought I would never use and some which I have had for so long I am fed up with them. The trouble with some pads like First Edition is that they have so many pages with several of each design. I prefer smaller pads, preferably double sided so I can use them all quicker. My paper drwaers are now so much tidier and I am striving to use all the odd pieces like this beautiful paper. It was perfect to match the LOTV simply print image. I added some lilac flowers from Hobbycraft and pink vellum flowers from America. I used my favourite MS fern punch, lilac ribbon and crispy lace. The sentiment is from the Pebbles Tealightful set I used last week from MMCS.

Fabulous card Marianne. I adore that image and your colour choice is so pretty & matches well with the tones on the pre-coloured print.

It's a beautiful card - and I love the paper you've used.
When I go through my papers that way, I inevitably find a few that I'd forgotten about and really love, so they get used right away. The rest get transferred to my grandchildren's craft box, but I find myself gradually sneaking them back into my own drawers.... just in case.....

I am not sure I should have read your blog today, as I am now feeling incredibly guilty about my hoard of papers that I tell myself I will use 'one day' - they are stashed in all sorts of nooks and crannies, so maybe I should follow your example - especially if I end up by creating something as pretty as this!
