Balancing Act

The first of the month means a new club stamp set from Little Claire and this month it is a set of cute hedgies. Did you know the hedgehog population is dwindling as there are less hedgerows and places from them to live. Part of the problem is people paving and gravelling their gardens particularly their front gardens. I love my garden and can't image not having a front garden.

Anyway onto my card/ I used an embossing folder from Crafter's Companion with sanded Core'dinations, some raffia lace, Marianne flower die and pearls. The image has been stamped onto Neenah Desert Storm and coloured with Copics.

It's an unfortunate fact of life nowadays that people need somewhere to park their numerous cars so the front garden has to be sacrficed! I have a family livin opposite me and they have parking space on the front garden and then take up 3 spaces on the road too!
What a gorgeous card, I love your sanded background :o)

Hi Marianne what a beautiful card I love the image and your design is wonderful.
It's the same on our street with cards I took part f my garden to
make a drive so I never park on the road but theres some with drive and they just too lazy to put them on their drive. Next door were complaining their wing mirror got knocked off it would never have happened if it were on the drive.

It's so sad to think of hedgehogs in decline as they are just the cutest things and of course, great for keeping the slug and snail population in check! We don't see them often but I know there are some around us as our garden backs onto fields. I don't have a front garden though :-(

The hedgie on your card seems to be doing s spot of gardening although I'm not sure it's going to end well with those pots!
Great design, love the fab colours and flowers details :-)

Big hugs, Kat xx
