I bought a couple of large wooden Memory Box stamps in a sale just before Christmas at Crafts U Love. They are called background stamps but I think they also make a great focal point on a card. I am trying to make even more varied styles of cards to appeal to different people visiting my craft stall. I simply teamed the stamp with K&Co Hopscotch paper, some card candi and twine.

I have lots of boy's cards to make because my friends all have grandsons and the neighbours all seem to have sons or grandsons, so this card would be perfect for those in the 10 - 12 yrs range. Nice and easy too.

Brilliant card. Makes a change to have text instead of an image and works perfectly. I had a great sale day today at a friends open house. Two hours and sold loads! Better than some of the fairs! Great card Marianne. Perfect for those folk who buy less 'fussy' cards or for folk who need a card but don't know the recipient well enough to pick something that reflects hobbies/likes etc. A great all-rounder.
