Gift card holders

Last Christmas I was going to make some gift card holders for my stall and never got round to it so this year I was determined to have a go at designing one,  Once I had worked out all my measurements, and written them down for the second one, I was away.

I used papers from LOTV, Frosty Christmas. The filigree poinsettia was made with a new purchase of Sue Wilson dies and glitter card. they look beautiful but took ages to poke all the bits out. I think glitter card is more difficult to work than ordinary card actually. The snowflakes are a Memory Box die and Martha Stewart punches.

This is the inside. The To and From look sideways in this picture but are the right way when the holder is opened. I bought some velcro dots when I went to the LOTV shop in  May and they were perfect for fastening.

Challenges
LOTV pretty papers
Divas by Design anything but a card
Crafting with dragonflies gift card holder
ABC Christmas S is for something festive
Not just cards anything goes
Whimsy Monochromatic
Hobbycutz Not a card
Scribble and Scrap Anything goes

Still time to enter my candy.

These are gorgeous. I love the design and beautiful colours. The poinsettia looks so pretty, shame it was so difficult to remove from the die but well worth the effort!

good Morning Marianne, like you I find Sue Wilson and SB dies an awful pain to release and that is with using wax paper and two shims.

Nevertheless, I love your gift card holder, what a fab design, and the flower and snowflake dies are gorgeous,Hugs Kate x

Fabulous gift holders Marianne - I bought the same dies and found the new Spellbinders pokey tool and brush the easiest way to get all the bits out.
I need to make some of these for my Christmas Craft Fayres :o)
