Baby Bunting

I have recently been contacted by a couple of people who regularly buy cards from me at the Hospital craft fairs. They wanted to buy two of the cards I made for Little Claire and wanted a Birthday card exactly like the Mother's Day card I made using James Peeping. So very unusually for me I had to make the same cards again. This led me to thinking that maybe I should do this a bit more often as designing the cards takes time and once I have sold one it would be a good idea to have another similar card. So I set to with a new Woodware stamp I bought at the NEC and made 6 baby cards, all slightly different. I used various papers. The banners were made with La La Land Heart,Memory Box and Die-namic dies and I also used a MB precious hearts die, pearl hearts, pearl and star gems and a Woodware star punch.

Here are the other four.

Beautiful selection of baby cards. Like you, I don't usually do the same card twice unless asked, but love to make similar ones. Having said that I have just completed a commission for 15 the same LOL.

They're fab Marianne! Love all the paper-pieced letters!
I can never seem to manage more than three very similar ones before getting really bored. This is somewhat annoying really, lol. x

Great set of cards Marianne. There is enough of a difference between each for folk to feel they have something a bit different.

They are gorgeous Marianne.
I too have recently been asked to make cards that are the same as ones I've sold. At first I wasn't too happy about it as I like to make everyone slightly different but you are right it does save time playing around with designs.. I do like your idea of using slightly different papers

Great cards Marianne. The papers and banners make each one look very different. Great idea, as you say, we spend hours creating and for stock it would save time. Hugs, Carol, S.xx

I often make batches of simpler cards, but I'm not keen on re-making the more fussy ones - I've done it when I've been asked though. This is a lovely set of cards hun, fab stamp and details :o) Hugs, Lisa x

That is such a good idea to make several similar designs, especially for selling at craft fairs I would think. The baby word stamp is so versatile and I love all the little variations on your cards :-)

These are all so very wonderful! I have just recently realized that the design is what takes me the longest and am now starting to "copy" my designs too especially when they are for hospitals etc. Thanks so much for sharing these at The Shabby Tea Room! :)
