Steampunk cogs and clocks

Something very different today. As much as I love making cute and pretty cards sometimes I love playing around with something like this. I had no idea where I was going with it to start with but once I had decided on the Docrafts Chronology papers the card grew from there. I used a Marianne key die and a Sizzix on the edge steampunk die which I heat embossed with WOW copper powder. The clock charm is from Wild Orchid and I finished it off with some frantage.

It is rather different for you Marianne but beautifully done and a perfect steampunk example, it's something I struggle with.

Perfect steampunk example Marianne. Love what you did with the backing papers to make it into the focal point/image. The Sizzix die is perfect as is the tiny watch face and the key.

Thanks for sharing with us

Great vintage feel to this card and lots of lovely details. The combination of the embossing, frantage and the metal charm gives it loads of great texture.
