Fun in the Sun

What a contrast to yesterday. The sun came out all day today and it has been 25 degrees, almost twice yesterday's ridiculous temperature. We have had a lovely Summer's day out today so let's hope for more like it. I made this card for Lynsey's husband Will's Birthday using one of the fab Teddy No images. Will loves surfing in Cornwall on holiday but I don't think he wears armbands like Teddy Bo. He is coloured with Promarkers with some glossy accents on the waves.  Papers are Wild Rose men's pack and I used the MS cherish punch as it looks like waves. The sentiment is from Pollycraft.

Challenges:
Passion for Promarkers Animal crackers
Bunny Zoe Fun in the Sun
Crafty Calendar Under the Sea or Water theme
Charisma Four legged friends
Stamp Something Summer fun
CES Feeling the Blues (Hope there is enough blue)
For Fun Sand/beach

Christmas in July

Good afternoon everyone and firstly welcome to my new followers. I hope you will visit often. I really appreciate everyone's kind comments. I must say it felt more like Christmas weather this morning than Summer. The sun has finally decided to make an appearance but this morning was cloudy and overcast. We did a car boot sale and when we got there it decided to drizzle a little which was very disheartening. We only do one or two a year trying to choose days when the weather is supposed to be fine. Thankfully it soon stopped but it was only 13 degrees. I had a fleecy hoodie and a scarf on and it is July so making Christmas cards seems very appropriate.

This is my DT card for this week's challenge at Totally Gorjuss where the challenge is Christmas in July. We are sponsored by Meljens and the DT were given some images to play with. Mine is called Cozy Little Chickadees. I used bits and pieces from some of last year's Christmas papers, mainly Forever Friends. I followed the fab sketch at Sketch n Stash and added some flowers, card candi and pine branches cut with a Marianne die.

I would also like to enter this into the Christmas in July challenges at Pollycraft, Sweet Stampin', Crafty Creations, Crafty Catz and Fussy and Fancy.

Now as you can see there are a number of Christmas in July challenges this week and not forgetting the regular Christmas challenges either. Now here's a tip, hop over to Squiggle Stamps where you will find 20% off Christmas images and 2 freebies, one of which is Lil Angel. Make a card, enter the Christmas in July challenges including the one at Squiggle Stamps blog and the fairies or angels challenge at Winter Wonderland. You could enter 8 challenges with one free image. Also don't forget to enter my candy in the post above and you could win even more Squiggle images. There are some new ones coming soon, which you are going to love.

Birds in flight

I'm back as promised with two cards to share with you, both with birds. This first card was made using a Squiggles image called lovebirds. I coloured it with Spectrum Noir pens an added some lace, punched butterflies and punched heart with roses for a romantic feel for an anniversary card. The backing paper is just perfect with this image and comes from my ever dwindling pack of Papermania Summer Blooms.

Challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers Flutterbies
Sarah Hurley Punch it
Digital Tuesday Garden with things with wings
Papertake Great sketch

For my second card I have used one of the first Little Claire stamps I ever bought which is a lovely image for so many occasions. I teamed it with some papers which arrived today with my Cardmaking and Papercraft mag. They are Kate Knight Totally Tropical and boy are they bright but I felt they showed off this image well which has also been coloured with Spectrum Noirs. I used an MS trellis border punch and added some pearls and flowers.

Challenges:
Little Claire Things with wings
Willow Sketchie Fab sketch
Moving along with the times Brand spanking new
Everybody Art Garden
Paperplay In the garden

Oh Pants

Well today you can get your hands on the lovely new SWALK and Humphrey stamps at Crafter's Companion. Hope you'll be watching Create and Craft at the weekend when there will be lots of shows featuring these new stamps and the fabulous new Spectrum Noir pens.

My card today is such a fun image. I used papers from SWALK 2 CD and some satin ribbon also from Crafter's Companion. I die cut the sentiment with a Nestie die and tucked it behind the image for a change. The flowers are Prima with flower brads.

I would like to enter this into the challenge of humour/funny at CES. I'll be back later with another card.

Happy 21st

Second post for today. Scroll down for my SWALK sneak peek and tutorial info.

This is my last card as Guest Designer for Cute Card Thursday where there is a great sketch to follow. I made this card for my friend for her daughter's 21st using a Sugar Nellie Manga coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from Crafty Emma's. They are a sample pack with no cover and I've forgotten the make. I used a MS PATP set, MS and Papermania butterfly punches with raffia lace and glittery ribbon. The large flower is from Michaels, the others from crafty Emma's.

I would like to enter these challenges:
Craft Us Crazy Anything Goes

One hour to Torchwood so I'm off to hop around some blogs.

Only one more sleep to launch day

After a little housework this morning we had some friends come round for coffee and a catch up so I'm a bit late posting today's sneak peek. Just one more sleep and then you will be able to order the gorgeous new SWALK and Humphrey stamps.

I wanted to make one of these diamond cards after I saw one on Create and Craft using a template. I couldn't find a tutorial so worked out how to make one. I've set up a tutorial page so if you want to know the measurements check out my page. I've also added tutorials for a joyfold card and a circular easel card. If you find them helpful please leave me a comment here.

I've used papers from the SWALK 2 CD and one of the new SWALK stamp sets called Deserve a Treat. I used a Nestie for the sentiment and then stuck it behind the diamond. I used distress ink and WOW glitter embossing powder on the edges of the image. Punched flowers and pearls to finish.

I would like to enter this into the challenge of food and drink at Card Makin Mamas and Happy Birthday at Dutch Dare.

I had a lovely surprise today as I won 4 digis at
and some gorgeous Wild Orchid flowers at

Both wins were with my teddy bear card which I got into both challenges with about an hour to spare.
Don't forget my candy which is in the post at the top of my blog.

Wheeeeeeee..........

This is my second post for today. Scroll down for some cute Humphrey baby cards.

These LOTV bears are having lots of fun. I teamed them with Echo Park Walk in the Park papers which I won at Little Claire and which arrived today. As you can see I couldn't wait to use them. I thought the little tress worked so well with this image. These papers are double sided so I used the scraps to make some bunting, using both sides of the tree paper. I just love bunting on cards. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards which I layered with a Nestie circle and added some white gel faux stitching. The double border was made with an MS punch.

Challenges;
Scrapbook Sisters Happy Birthday
Stamps R Us Happy Birthday
Charisma Sunshine Colours
Lili of the Valley Fun and Games

Right, I'm off to Sainsburys to get some shopping.

Welcome little one - Sneak Peeks Day Two

Good morning everyone. I hope you are all enjoying the sneak peeks from the Crafter's Companion DT. These new stamps will be available to buy from Friday and will be featured on TV at the weekend. I have used my favourite of the new stamp sets for this card which I made using the Crafter's Companion Top Score board. Te papers are from the Humphrey CDs and I used my MS Cherish PATP set. I used one of the stamping tags from the CD with one of the sentiments and small pic from the stamp set and a pretty brad.

I coloured the images with the lovely new Spectrum Noir pens. I used BG1, CG1 and CG0.5 for Humphrey and 62, 64 and 68 for his robe.

I would like to enter this into the challenges at:
Simon SaysShaped card
Hooked on Craft Cute and cuddly
Moving along with the times Cute and cuddly with a punch

For my second card I just used the small image with the same sentiment. I embossed some Tim Holtz Core'dinations with a Darice frame embossing folder both available from Crafter's Companion. I cut out the middle of the frame and placed the image underneath and raised the embossed front with foam pads. I then spent ages looping the ribbon until I was happy with it and added some baby pearl buttons. I don't often leave my buttons naked but they didn't look right otherwise. A little bit of faux stitching and job done.

I would like to enter these challenges:
Truly Scrumptious Buttons and bows
Wags n Whiskers Buttons and bows

Slugs and snails - SWALK sneak peek one

I'm spoiling you now and giving you another sneak peek of Friday's new launch. This time I have used one of the new SWALK stamps called Slugs and Snails. Papers are from the SWALK 2 CD. I have used my MS zigzag punch for a double border. The snails and sentiment also come with the stamp set. The stars were cut with a Sizzix primitive star die and Tim Holtz Core'dinatiosn which I then distressed and added buttons. The images are coloured with the fab new Spectrum Noir pens and I added glossy accents to the puddle.

I would like to enter this into the challenge of One for the Boys at Totally Papercrafts.

If you are looking for the bloghop answer please check out the post below.

Humphrey and SWALK Bloghop and first sneak peek

Good morning everyone and welcome to the Crafter’s Companion Blog Hop to celebrate the release of two more SWALK and Humphrey stamp sets.

For my first sneak peek I have used the gorgeous Father's Day image. How cute does Humphrey look in his Dad's shoes. You get 3 different sentiments plus a tie and par of shoes with this image and you can pick up 3 stamps sets for just £10, what a bargain. The image was coloured with the fabulous new Spectrum Noir pens also available from Crafter's Companion. I love the way these pens blend and the turquoise set are a particular favourite. I've teamed Humphrey with papers from the Humphrey CD set and used an MS zigzag punch and some star gems.

If you have landed here from Wendy then you are hopping in the right direction. If not then you need to pop over to the Crafter’s Companion News blog to begin.

Birdcage

This week at Whoopsi Daisy our challenge is Let's Get in Shape so we want to see a shaped card from you. I love making these shaped easel cards with Go Kreate dies. I kept this simple to show off Linnie's gorgeous image which I coloured with Promarkers. I used a Sakura goldstar pen on the birdcage and a Prima sparkly flower. I would like to enter this into the shaped cards challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and no pink or blue at Crafty Catz,

Another dull day today which got cooler as the day went on, instead of warmer. I changed the bed this morning and had the bed linen out all day and it still isn't dry. I'm hoping for a nice Autumn now! I've been out and about all day again today so no time for crafting or blogging but will have a bit if time this evening. I'm off to the hairdresser's tomorrow morning but I will be scheduling my first Crafter's Companion sneak peek combined with a bloghop which you are definitely going to want to play as there will be a great prize on offer. So check back here at 10am tomorrow.

A flower for you

A quick post from me before having a shower and heading out. The weather looks a bit better today, can even see a glimpse of sun. Popped into the Range yesterday and managed to get another A4 pack of Henbury Lane along with a lovely Christmas pack of papers called Enchanted Christmas, some ribbon and a small pack of Core'dinations. Haven't bought much lately so thought it was time for a little spend. So many gorgeous new Sugar Nellies I like and of course the sneak peeks of the new LOTV stamps. Resisting so far though. Talking of sneak peeks I'll be showing you the New Crafter's Companion stamps from Tuesday coloured with the fab new Spectrum Noir pens.

My card today is my DT card for Totally Gorjuss where the challenge is Punch or Die. Not as violent as it sounds, just use a punch and/or die. I used one of the LOTV girls along with a sheet of Papermania Summer Blooms and some Tim Holtz Core'dinations which I embossed and sanded and then punched with an MS border punch. I also used a Nestie die for the image and matting. The silver embellie I picked up at a little craft fair, 60p for 7 (odd number I know). I really like the effect behind the rose.

I would also like to enter this into the challenge of Summertime at Craft Your Days Away and free and easy at Allsorts. Have a lovely Sunday. Sun has now gone behind a cloud again but definitely feels warmer today. Yesterday was only about 15 degrees (60).

Fifth Avenue and Squiggle News

Well it's another dull, cool and rainy Saturday so the washing is in the tumble dryer. I think we had Summer in April. Noticed the Autumn clothes are starting to come into the shops. Soon be Christmas, lol!!!

I was lucky enought to win this gorgeous 5th Avenue Simply Sassy stamp and just had to ink her up and use her in blue for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge. The papers are Papermania Blueberry Pie. I wanted to make this a card with lots of texture so added a gold doily, lace, sparkly ribbon, Fizzy Moon flowers and buttons and used an MS border punch, one I haven't used for a while.
Challenges:
The Sugar Bowl Kiki's sketch
Allsorts Free and Easy
Sparkles Forum Elegant and lace
Paperplay Ribbon, lace and buttons

I also have some great news that Squiggle Stamps have realaunched their challenges which will now be fortnightly with a chance to win a £10 voucher and a GDT spot. The new challenge is Christmas and with so many other Christmas challenges around (including Winter Wonderland) there's no better time to be making Christmas cards. There are reductions on all Squiggle Christmas digis too and there are even a couple of fab freebies in the Squiggle store. So with freebies on offer and the chance of a great prize I hope to see many of you entering this challenge. Don't forget my candy of £10 to spend at Squiggle Stamps too, which is the top post on my blog.

I hope the weather is better where you are and you have a lovely weekend. I'm out and about visiting this weekend but will catch up with you as soon as I can.

The Holly and The Ivy

Here I am with my DT card for this week's Winter Wonderland challenge. I'm hosting the challenge of Holly and/or Ivy. You can use either or both on your card, as much or as little as you like. I hope you'll join us for the chance to win a Simon Says $15 voucher. I seem to be having a Pollycraft week this week as I have used another of Paula's fab digis. This is Aurelia. I've used an ivy leaf punch and Sizzix holly leaves around the gorgeous flower from Michaels. The 3D sentiment was from an old set I found. The swirl is also from a Sizzix die and I used an MS PATP set. Papers are last year's Papermania Penelope and Percy. There's lots of glitter on the papers and on the fur on her clothes.

Challenges:

Stamp Something Embellish something

I had a very exciting parcel delivered yesterday, 72 Spectrum Noir pens. These are released today at Crafter’s Companion. There are 168 different colours available and there are some special offers on the website. Now if you are a regular reader you will know how much I love my Promarkers. I received the Spectrum Noir pens as part of my DT work for Crafter's Companion and hoped I would like them. Well I can tell you I love them. They are double ended alcohol markers. The fine end is a hard nib like PMs but a bit finer and they blend beautifully. One of the great things about them is the price and the fact that they are refillable. I haven't tried them with my PMs yet but think they would work well with either these or Copics. If you are on Facebook head over to the I'm a Crafter's Companion page and check out the chatter from the rest of the DT who are also loving them. I need to get my samples finished which I'll be showing you from next Tuesday. You are going to love these new stamps.

Refreshment time

I'm back with my second card for today. Please scroll down for my first DT card for Squiggle Stamps. This is my third guest designer card for Cute Card Thursday where this week's challenge is For His Eyes Only. I have used a Pollycraft image from the Swings and Slides set and papers from Wild Rose Mens. I used some Baker's Twine and an MS simple scallop border punch. I bought a pack of baseball cap buttons from a bargain bin at a craft show, 5 for 50p, and it fits this image so well. I love rummaging through the bargains at craft shows as you never know what you will find. Talking of shows I'm planning to go the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show at Ally Pally on the Saturday in September. If you're also going hope to see you there.

Flowers for you

Well here I am with my first DT card for Squiggle Stamps. If you follow the link you can see my post plus many more beautiful cards from the rest of the DT. I will be posting a card every other Thursday on that blog. There are some lovely new digis available and a really cute new range coming soon so become a follower of the Squiggle Stamps blog to make sure you don't miss the new release.

I have used Miss Evie Frills and Flowers for my easel card and teamed her with my fave paper pack which is Papermania Henbury Lane. I just might have to see if this is still available at the Range and pick up another pack. I've used an MS border punch and Crealie swirls with pink pearlised card from Crafter's Companion. The patterned flowers are Fizzy Moon with some white mulberry flowers which I coloured with a Promarker. I've also used some of my fave raffia lace from Quixotic Paperie.

Here's a closer look at the front of the card. This image is available to buy in either rubber or digi here.  If you enter my candy in the post at the top of my blog you could win a £10 voucher to spend at Squiggle Stamps.

The papers are Kars X-mas. I embossed the blue card with Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls. The holly is made from Sizzix die cuts and card candi.

Taking a bath

Well I never got back on the laptop yesterday as hubby wanted to use it to complete the holiday DVD he is making from our March holiday. Still he is at work today so I have it all to myself and will be able to do some visiting and commenting later. I also have a large pile of ironing as I did 2 loads of washing yesterday. Just as well as it poured later on and today is dull and rainy too.

This is my DT card for Whoopsi Daisy where this week's challenge is Sparkle and Shine. I think this is such a fun and cute image with her clothes and wand hanging up waiting to be put on. I added glitter to the bath and wings, used a Sakura rosestar pen on lots of the details and added a glittery bow and pearls and used glossy accents to the mirror for the sparkle and shine. The ribbon roses I found in my stash and added rose petal leaves from Joanna Sheen and some lace. The paper I also found in my stash so no idea what make it is. It is so pretty that I only use one DP on this card for a change.

Other challenges:
The Emerald Faerie All things nice (girly)
Paperplay Things with wings
Crafts 4 Eternity 3,2,1 (3 roses, 2 leaves, 1 bow, lace, image)

Friends

Good morning everyone. Goodbye to 2 followers, have no idea why people stop following as I never do but there you go. We had a lovely evening, the rain stopped just as we got to Cromer and it turned into a lovely evening. We had a nice mean and the show was really good. It's the last end of the pier show in England and if you get the chance to see it then do. It was very funny, great singers and dancers and a really sweet little theatre which we locals need to support.

I've mad another Popcorn Pals card using papers and a diamond twisterpage from the CDs. The ribbon is also from Crafter's Companion, sentiment from one of the Popcorn Pals stamp sets. I used a MS PATP punch set and added some gem butterflies.

Challenges:

Crafts and Me Summertime
Colour Create Cream, aqua and pale pink
Fussy and Fancy Summer
Hooked on Craft With love
CRAFT Butterflies

Unfortunately the ironing is calling so I'll hop back later for some blogging.

I like to ride my bicycle

Well as predicted it is pouring with rain so instead of having a lovely walk at the seaside we have been to Sainsburys and won't be leaving until later this afternoon just in time to have a meal and see the Cromer Pier Show. I don't expect to be wearing my heavy waterproof in July. Tomorrow more rain is predicted so a day at home is planned with a bit of crafting I'm sure.

My DT card today for Totally Gorjuss is for the One for the Boys challenge. We are sponsored by Simon Says an there are loads of boy challenges this week so I expect a lot of entries again. I know some people don't like making male cards but I love them as they make a change from flowers etc. I have used a fab image from Pollycraft which has been coloured with Promarkers and has glossy accents on his glasses. Papers are the old faithful Dovecraft again. I used my MS cherish punch and a Cuttlebug star die.

I am also entering these challenges:

It's a goal!

This is my second card posted today. I have also posted some candy above.

It has been a beautiful sunny day here today but that's all about to change. We are promised cool, wet and windy weather for the weekend. That's just typical especially as we are going to the Cromer Pier show tomorrow night. I shall look forward to walking along the pier in the wind and rain (not!).

This little footballer is called Stu and he's from Digistamp Boutique so I will be entering him into this month's competition. I used papers from Wild Rose and the old faithful Dovecraft men's pack. The 3D football was amongst some old stash and I added some card candi and a Craftwork Cards sentiment. I used the fab sketch at Willow Sketchie and would also like to enter this into the stitching challenge at Crafty Sentiments and sporty at Here come the boys.

Gorjuss in Purple and a winner

Time for a purple card and an Sugar Nellie image I haven't used for ages. The gorgeous papers are Papermania Heather capsule collection. I bought some pearl ribbon sliders recently along with lots of other goodies from Crafty Emmas and this is the first time I have used one. I really like the effect with the organza ribbon. The flowers are from Crafty Emmas and Michaels with MS punched leaves.

Challenges:

Floating around

I had a great time yesterday at the Vintage Garden Party. Shame the weather was dull and cool and there were a couple of light short showers but luckily I was inside. I met some lovely people and sold almost £50 worth of cards etc. One of the other stallholders has a shop and jewellery workshop in the next village. She also sells crafts from some local people and has asked me to go and see her as she would like to sell my cards. Very exciting.

Onto my card which is my second DT card for Cute Card Thursday where the challenge is Circles. I made this little scene with some of the transparent Penny Black stamps and thought it was perfect for this challenge with the little circular puffballs. The papers are First Edition Desert Bloom again and the lovely leaves were made with a Crealie die available from Joanna Sheen.

Flying High

This is my second post today. Why is blogger on a go slow tonight? Why aren't my followers showing? Why doesn't spellchecker on new posts work every time rather than some of the time? Why is networked blogs showing my header and a little bit of my post on Facebook? Why do I have a big box of scrap card and hardly ever have the right size in the right colour and end up cutting into a new piece of A4 card?

Enough of my questions let's move onto my card which features one of the latest boy stamps and the postcard stamp from LOTV. He is coloured with Promarkers, papers are Wild Rose for Men. I added a corner, seem to have a thing about these at the mo, a star button and twine and some punched stars.

I used the fab sketch from Donalda at Lili of the Valley and would also like to enter this into the challenges of let's hear it for the boys at A Gem of a Challenge, Birthdays at Wags n Whiskers and Happy Birthday at Penny's.

Believe in fairies

Good morning everyone. I'm having a very busy day today. Have done some housework, washing and ironing and just taking a quick break before heading out to do some gardening. Also sorting out my stuff for Wednesday as I am going to a vintage garden party where I will be selling my cards all day and helping out with book stall etc. Hope the sun shines as it is here at the moment. Hope to get in some crafting and blogging later.

This is my DT card using one of the lovely Linnie's images for Whoopsi Daisy. The papers are Papercellar Victorian Burgundy and Papermania. The sentiment has been distressed with Frayed Burlap DI, flowers are Prima with some material flowers and gems.

I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Pad Lots of texture

I would like to thank Arline for the following award.

Thanks so much. I would like to give this to all my lovely followers.

Red and green Christmas and some exciting news

Well blogger worked OK with the pic linking today but still can't see my followers but I know you are there. It's a lovely warm Sunday though showers are forecast later so I'm just doing a quick post before we head out for the day.

My card is the completely opposite colours to my challenge at Winter Wonderland where red and green must not be seen. I've used a Sugar Nellie image which tough not a Christmas image looks warm and cosy on a Christmas card I think. Papers are Papermania Classic Christmas. The sentiment and holly border are K&Co.

Challenges:
Sugar Bowl Great sketch
Sir Stampalot Anything Goes
Allsorts Free and Easy
Bling it On Anything Goes
I will also be entering this into the Facebook SN challenge of Christmas.

And my exciting news is that Tracy has invited me to join the DT at Squiggle Stamps. I have always loved these stamps. The funny thing is that I was the first guest designer at Squiggle and it was also my first ever guest design spot. Tracy will be relaunching the monthly challenges so I hop you will hop and over and join in when they start.

Totally Gorjuss Popcorn

Don't know about you but I'm finding blogger a bit of a pain today. That horrible error 503 comes up when I try to comment and I have to try twice to upload piccies. I'm so thrilled to have won Little Claire's last challenge, some yummy goodies coming my way. I was also very happy to make top3 at the 2 Sisters challenge for one of my Popcorn Pals cards. Talking of Popcorn, I've used some Popcorn decoupage for my DT card for the Summertime theme at Totally Gorjuss. we are lucky to be sponsored this week by Crafter's Companion so if you've been enjoying my sneak peeks this week hop over and play and you could win £10 which would buy some lovely new stamps or go towards the CDs. The papers are from one of the Popcorn CDs and I cut out some balloons from the paper and 3D'd them and doodled some string. I added some bunting with faux stitching and ribbon too. I would like to enter this into the challenge of Crafting with or for a child at Crafty Sentiments.

Third post for today

The excitement is building especially on Facebook and I know you can't wait to get your hands on these. This is my third post today and I'm bringing you another of the Popcorn Pals cards. For this one I used four of the stamps to make a little group of friends. The backing butterfly paper is one of my faves from the CDs. I used a scrap from one of the other cards and my MS cherish punch along with Crafter's Companion pearlised card., which I also used for the punched butterflies. I punched some flowers from more scraps and added some pearls. The sentiment is also from one of the stamp sets.

I rotated the fab sketch at Sketch Saturday and would like to enter this into the challenge of something with bugs or butterflies at Stamp Something.

I'm getting ahead with some DT work now as I have just got some more stamps in the post for the end of July launches at Crafter's Companion and these are just gorgeous too.

Have a great weekend everyone and hope the weather improves from this mixture of sunshine and showers we've had for the last few days.

Red and Green must not be seen

This is my second post today. Scroll down for a Popcorn Pals card. This week at Winter Wonderland its my turn to host the challenge and I have chosen red and green must not be seen. We have a great prize on offer -
so I hope you'll come and join us. After all we are more than halfway through the year now. Where did the last 6 months go?

I have chosen to show you one of the cards using the Reddy pyrimage from Crafter's Companion. This pyrimage comes in some wonderful shapes and I just love this sweet image. The papers are from the Snowman CD. I used a Go Kreate die for the backing and embossed it with D'vine Swirls and added some star gems to finish. I would like to enter this into Christmas in July at Moving along with the times and Craft Us Crazy.

Right, must go, washing and housework is calling but I'll be back later.

It's launch day

Yes. launch day for Popcorn Pals has arrived and I'm here to share another card with you. The pyrimage and papers are from the 2 CDs. I use a Michael's border punch to create some interest and added some ribbon. The balloons were made with a Sizzix die, white gel pen, gold pen for string and my new X cut star dies which I also used for the stars at the bottom.

I would like to enter this into the challenge of stars and stripes at My Mum's Craft Shop and Celebrations with the option of stars and stripes at Pollycraft. (The wallpaper is striped and there are stars galore.)

I'm sorry I haven't been commenting as much as usual this week but Crafter's Companion have kept me very busy with this launch and also loads of new Reddy decoupage which will be on TV on Monday. I'll catch up with you as soon as I can and would also like to welcome some more new followers.

I'll be bakc later with another Popcorn pals card and also my Winter Wonderland DT card.

Floral Thank You

This is my second post for today. Scroll down for today's Popcorn Pals card.

I was delighted to be asked to be a guest designer for July at Cute Card Thursday and this week the challenge is lace. I have used one of the Lili of the Valley die cuts as this teddy isn't yet available as a stamp. I have teamed him with some Basic Grey Wisteria papers, white lace and pearls, a K&Co daisy and a Sizzix corner swirl which I cut in half.

I would like to enter this into the challenges at:
Charisma All about flowers
Creative Craft Pretty Blossoms
Papertake Anything Goes
Try it on Tuesday Flower power

I bought a set of the new star X cut nesting dies to try today. I thought they were a good deal as there was a £1 voucher in the Do Crafts mag making them only £8.95. They also had the Tulip range half price so I picked up a few bargains including a stamp set with lots of different images for only £3.48.

Great to see so many entries for my candy. If you haven't entered yet see the post above.

One day to launch day

Only one more sleep and then you can get your hands on these new CDs and stamps from Crafter's Companion. Today I have made an easel card using pyrimage and papers from the first CD. I used an MS topiary border punch on the spotted paper. The sentiment is from one of the stamp sets and has been cut with a  Spellbinder label die. Some Crealie die cut swirls and flowers and brad to finish. There really are some beautiful papers on these CDs.

I would also like to enter this into the challenge at Aud Sentiments of at least 2 word sentiment.

I'll be back later today with my first GDT card for Cute Card Thursday.

Sneak Peek Day 3

I'm back again today with another Popcorn Pals card. I've sen various versions of this little sweetie. I used an insert from the first CD and cut out the white middle and then stuck it another paper from the CD. I stamped and coloured the image with Promarkers and added the stamped balloons which have been attached with Collal 3D glue for dimension. I made some bunting with offcuts of some of the papers and drew some faux stitching. The sentiment is also from the stamp set, which I cut into a triangle to match the bunting.

Don't forget Friday is launch day but this is exclusive to Crafter's Companion members and won't be featured on TV for a while.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stitching
Kaboodle Doodles Celebrations
A Spoon Full of Sugar Sewing
Ladybug Crafts Ink Summer Birthdays
Crafty Catz Colours of Summer

Popcorn Pals sneak peek 1

Here I am with my first sneak peek of the new Popcorn Pals range. These images are so sweet and will be exclusive to Crafter's Companion members from this Friday. There will be a TV launch in a few month's time so if you are not a member of Crafter’s Companion then you need to get over there and register. There is a double CD which will retail at £29.99 but there will be a special launch price, and stamp sets will be £5.99 a sheet or 4 for £20.

For my card I have used paper and twisted inervertage from the first CD. The CDs are packed with all the things you have come to expect from Crafter's Companion. I used distress ink broken china around the paper and the co-ordinating Tim Holtz Core'dinations which I punched with an MS double loop punch and sanded. I added some patterned ribbon, scrolls and punched flowers from pearlised card and the same paper with added gems.

I would like to enter this card into the challenge of free and easy at Allsorts and flourishes and bling at Delicious Doodles.
