60th Birthday

A friend asked me to make a 60th birthday card for a friend of hers, who likes pink and fairies. I had to be careful not to make the card too young so thought this image and the darker pink with black were a perfect combination for a more sophisticated card. This is for Sketch Saturday.. I rotated their lovely sketch as it fitted the A5 card better. It is also my fourth and final card for Charisma Cards.

Ingredients
Stamp - Flower fairy free from magazine
Coloured with Letraset Promarkers, highlighted with glitter pens

Choo choo

This card is for theTruly Scrumptious Challenge 10. The challenge is to use their great sketch and some neglected stash. I bought this train made from handmade paper from Twiddleys long before I got hooked on stamping. The papers are from Dovecraft, bought last yar and not used for ages. The corner die cut is from Sizzix, again not used for some time. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out, so nice and bright for a little boy's birthday, and so different from my girly cards. This is also for Cute Card Thursday Challenge 66 Wheely Good Fun and Charisma Challenge 25. They are looking for cards any theme and any style. They have some great prizes on offer and you can enter up to 4 times.

I love this new stamp from Sugar Nellie. Its perfect for those people who wouldn't suit one of their cute girl stamps. Whilst we all love those stamps they are not suitable for everyone. Double challenge card

I wanted to make a wedding card for somebody I deal regularly with at work on the phone. I don't know her that well so didn't want to make a large card. I used the sketch from

ABC Challenge R is for Roses.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 12

Well it has been a beautiful day here in Norfolk. We have had a lovely day out with friends visiting some open gardens at the coast. Time to get this card entered for the
Sugar Bowl Challenge . I found using 6 different papers and following this sketch quite a challenge, but an enjoyable challenge. I would never have thought of such a complicated sketch myself. I decided to just use part of the stamp for a change. The challenge also required blue and green to be used.
