One for the postie

I love this traditional scene from Delicious Doodles and I wanted to make a card for our postie as he is very good, even leaving parcels with our friends across the road for us if we are out. I love just colouring the postbox and the front door with Copics. The papers are Papermania Home for Christmas and I added some ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a postbox topper from Hobbycraft.

This is my inspiration card for today's 12 days of Christmas post at Crafty Ribbons Inspiration Blog. Today's prize is a massive £15 voucher to spend at Crafty Ribbons so hop over, check out the DT inspiration and enter your name, as simple as that.

Must say the food shopping this week has been very easy surprisingly. We were going to M&S this morning but we have a new M&S food shop opened on the ringroad so we went there on the way home yesterday which means a morning free for crafting yippee and we have friends round for coffee and cake this afternoon.

Beautiful card Marianne.
You are lucky having a good postie - we had a fabulous one until there was a re-organisation at our sorting office and the guy we have now can be very slap-dash.
Enjoy you shopping free morning.

A gorgeous card and love the sparkly letter box and all the snow. We have a very good Postie too. My husband is Australian and had to send off his passport for renewal. It actually had to go to Oz to be done. It was returned with the wrong address on it but he knew it was for us, so he gave it to us. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Carol S.xx
