Not a Christmas Card!

Time for another challenge at The Sugar Bowl. Yes we are 2 days early this month as we didn't want the challenge to start on Christmas Day. You will all be too busy to check out the challenge I think. Our theme is anything goes with a Sugar Nellie stamp and I decided to make a Birthday card this month. Sadly this is my last card of the 4 month term, which has flown by. I have applied again for a further 4 months so fingers crossed. If not I will enjoy playing in the challenges.

Image - Leanne Ellis tell me something from Funky Kits
Medium - Copics
Papers - Crafter's Companion Scruffy little cat
Die - Marianne Designs birds on a wire
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards
Other - gauze, crispy ribbon, wooden bird

A day at home today. Need to have a final clean of the house before Christmas and hopefully a little crafting time this afternoon.

Love this card and that gorgeous image. Fabulous colouring... just looking at the pleats on her skirt is eye candy. Your shading really gives it dimension and depth. I also like the bird embellies and that fabulous netting.
Have a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2014.

Wonderful colour palette you have chosen to use. The birds die/punch really do tie it in well together. Good luck with the Sparkles Challenge this month.
